A React/Rails app for mixing beats and songs on the fly

  • Connected React frontend with custom CSS to Amazon S3 bucket via Ruby on Rails API to enable song playback
  • Configured an Amazon S3 Active Storage service in backend, allowing users to upload MP3s
  • Extended React library Wavesurfer to display song waveforms for looping and beat matching
  • Designed custom functions for Regions plugin, to be used with keyboard shortcuts for seamless DJing
