Developing from previous ideas, the current thesis focuses on a financial analysis by comparing the period of SARS and Covid-19. The reasons I chose this topic is that besides the global health issues occured along with the outbreak of epidemic that are more obvious, the global economy is also impacted. The consequences vary from irrational purchase/sale to bankrupcy.

I wanted to narrow down health issue in economy to SARS and Covid-10 because these epidemics are the most severe in 21st century, with similar outbreak area and causes. For users who are interested in this topic, the current common method is selecting certain period and sectors on sites such as Trading View. The hassel is that users need to find the relevant time on a different resource, e.g. Google "timeline of SARS".

With the information above, I redirected to tradingview.com to go to relevant dates with the sector I thought was impacted. Here, i selected XLV, refer to Health Care.
