face-shield's Issues

Please upload US version

Hi, I've been using your version without the text. I just realized that these are the EU/International version. Can you please modify the US version and upload that as well?

Thank you!!

Stacks do not work in Simplify3D

S3D detects non manifold edges in the stacked versions. PrusaSlicer seems to work.

We should investigate this. Maybe the single models are not properly fused together?

888 version

Could you provide a version with standard 80-80-80 distance between the holders?
This would enable easy punching of a4 sheets with a common double-puncher.

For simple shields a total height of 11mm seems to be enough.
So this could be a fast to print lightweight design.

Stapel STL fehlerhaft

Simplify3d, Cura laden die Stapel-STLs nicht, aufgrund eines Fehlers in der Datei.

Slicer Fehlermeldung

Cura Invalid File

Seam Position

It might be beneficial to add to the README to set the "Seam Position" in PrusaSlicer to rear. The default setting was "Aligned" if I'm not mistaken and that put the seam in direct skin contact in the final print and could cause discomfort.

edit: might cause more problems than it fixes, seam is on more critical structural part and may cause stress braking.

Slicer profile

Hi,
it would be great if you could upload your used slicer profile to Github.
Best regards

How to stack

Hi there. I have a little bit modified STL and would like to print the file stacked like the stacked files that you provide. How did you create them? Just add the same model on top of another one in CAD with a small gap? How large of a gap? Did you try just importing a file multiple times into the slicer and positioning them vertically in the slicer?
Thanks in advance!
