||nicovideo.jp/api/tkas_video_impression blocks impression logs for sponsored/trending videos shown under "Related Videos", but users can still spot the out-of-place ad slot thanks to how unrelated the video usually is. As far as I am aware there is no way to differentiate between "normal" related videos and "sponsored" ones css-wise so I was unable to hide them cosmetically.

If you inspect the response for https://nvapi.nicovideo.jp/v1/recommend?recipeId=video_watch_recommendation&videoId=smxxxxxxxx&site=nicovideo&_frontendId=6&_frontendVersion=0 whenever ||nicovideo.jp/api/tkas_video_impression fires, the "sponsored" video has a "recommendType": "tkasF" instead of the usual "recommendType": "recommend". I tried reading up on json-prune.js but it doesn't look like I can remove elements based on the value of a particular property. Is there anyway for me to hide this irrelevant content?

Canvas Fingerprinting. I have decided to file these as a single issue because it's essentially the same script and I don't want to spam the issue tracker.

Note that one or two sites have a \/[-_0-9a-zA-Z]{4,}\/ instead of \/[-_0-9a-zA-Z]{6,}\/ because I have seen the length of first path gone as low as 4 there. I did not lower it for other sites just in case there might be false positives (not that I have seen any).

Canvas fingerprinting. A single script GET request followed by three xhr POST requests to the same URL. A bunch of data were sent in the request payload under sensor_data (including browser UA). Response payload is {"success": true}. Probably most obvious when you visit https://www.gu-global.com/kr/, of which redirects to an empty page but still decides to fingerprint you anyway.

These services are often used for article rankings or other potentially useful function; therefore, there are already many exception made. It may be better to move blocking filters of them to Paranoid, but two problems should be addressed:

1. There must already be many cosmetic filters hiding them.

Virtually all the cosmetic filters need to be reviewed as their name may not be so obvious. This will take quite long time.

2. They're blocked by EasyPrivacy.

Probably the best way to solve this is replacing with more specific filters using $badfilter and add slightly modified original filters to Paranoid.

Hi. I was recently trying out Yuki's uBlock Japanese filters and noticed some cosmetic filter entries were being collapsed into one single entry e.g.

famitsu.com##.ad-native-campaign, .article-ads-v2, .article-body__contents-pr-primary, .banner-footer-rect-container, .banner-lg-rect-haf-page, .banner-pc, .banner-top-header

which IMO made it more difficult to spot duplicate entries between filter lists and My filters in uBO's logger. This also meant I cannot create individual cosmetic filter exceptions (e.g. famitsu.com#@#.banner-pc) without first badfiltering the whole entry.

Given this issue is non-existent on Adguard Japanese (of which the maintainer also contributes towards), may I ask why these entries were organized in this way? Is this some sort of license limitation because some entries seem to be adapted from Tofu filters?

Not to be a vice ass, but doesn't this line miss the $ in $important

それぞれのフィルタのタイトルが一般的な用語のため、Adblockソフトに登録したときにYuki2718さんのフィルタであることがわかりにくいですし、広告ブロックソフトの純正フィルタと誤解されるおそれがあります。
固有の言葉をフィルタタイトルに入れていただけると嬉しいです。

You mentioned that you will no longer update that list.. Specifically for mobile.. list was updated on the 21st.. But the list doesn't have a 'mobile' tag..
Were there 2 lists originally and the one remaining is the non mobile version?

Not sure if this was meant to be a mobile-only filter but theoretically this does not cover cases such as https://www.4gamer.net/img/enderlilies_background_jack.jpg on desktop (see https://web.archive.org/web/20210624030248/https://www.4gamer.net/), although this is covered by the fallback cosmetic filter 4gamer.net##body:style(background:none!important).

Blocking the background also only hides parts of the background ad since some of it is embedded in the .header element. The following filters block the remaining part of the ad while maintaining some readability in the header. It's not an exact match but it is as close as I managed (for references see https://www.4gamer.net/nds OR https://web.archive.org/web/20210716054215/https://www.4gamer.net/). I have separated this issue from the previous one as you would probably consider this out of scope.

https://publicwww.com/websites/warpstorage.pro/ , as I know you have a subscription, and verify my suspicion, that this CDN should be safe to block?

It is related to https://mypdns.org/my-privacy-dns/porn-records/-/issues/1969

There seems to be a two-byte character "・" between the separator and the domain, but it doesn't seem to appear in the original txt file.
I'm not sure, but I'll report it.
