Question: Debian build: how to insert the rootfs?

Hello,
I am trying to generate an SD card image for TinyVision, at the moment I'm following the steps for "Debian 12".
Now I'm stuck at the genimage part. According to the script, an empty rootfs folder is passed so the real roots won't get duplicated. Still I don't see how it is injected then? If I just execute the script as mentioned it fails because the rootfs cannot be found. I believe it needs to be linked or at least be built at a certain place, but I couldn't figure out how or where yet. Please advise.

TinyVision reboot failure with v851se_linux_tinyvision_uart0_raw.zip.zip

It happens both with the official image or my built from source.

When I run reboot in adb shell,

the serial port prints following code and freezes.

根据TinyVision 在线文档的tina-40-linux-开发章节进行编译固件

修改文件 lichee/brandy-2.0/u-boot-2018/include/configs/sun8iw21p1.h下的

#ifdef CONFIG_SUNXI_MALLOC_LEN
#define SUNXI_SYS_MALLOC_LEN CONFIG_SUNXI_MALLOC_LEN
#else
#define SUNXI_SYS_MALLOC_LEN (32 << 20)
#endif

和修改brandy/brandy-2.0/u-boot-2018/drivers/mmc/sunxi_mmc.h下的

/* need malloc low len when flush unaligned addr cache */
#if defined (CONFIG_MACH_SUN8IW18) || defined (CONFIG_MACH_SUN8IW19) ||
(defined (CONFIG_MACH_SUN8IW20) && (CONFIG_SUNXI_MALLOC_LEN < 0x3700000)) ||
(defined (CONFIG_MACH_SUN8IW21) && (CONFIG_SUNXI_MALLOC_LEN < 0x3700000))
#define SUNXI_MMC_MALLOC_LOW_LEN (4 << 20)
#else
#define SUNXI_MMC_MALLOC_LOW_LEN (16 << 20)
#endif

后,在一次进行编译就出现了这个错误

请问TinyVision板子是否可以在用TINA的情况下使用以太网

你好,我参考这个链接:
Tina 5.0 Linux 开发
menuconfig没有做任何修改,成功生成了v851se_linux_tinyvision_uart0.img。

Camera gc2053 is not initialized

Camera works good on Lizard board, but not starting on TinyVision. Tried 0.0.1 and 0.0.2 versions, same log.

Hi,
There is no source build directory in "TinyVision-tina.0.0.2" directory, so I stoped in first step : source build/envsetup.sh

What have I done wrong?

Questions regarding the TinyVision board

Hi @YuzukiTsuru

I have a question regarding the TinyVison board. The features page suggests that the chip can encode videos using H.264/H.265 with frame resolutions of 3840x2160@20fps which is 8Mpixels, but the chip datasheet suggests it supports only up to 4Mpixels on CSI interface. Can you elaborate more on this?

Also, I wanted to order a Tinyvison board on Taobao to try it but it seems it is out of stock, so do you have any idea when it will be available again to order ?

Thanks for your help
