I was sondering if it also might be possible to implement the three dotted menu, you can click on at individual songs, at albums and channels.

Describe the bug
When playing a song, the bottom player completely covers the bottom menu with a white bar, making it impossible to navigate the app during playback

Describe the bug
Look at screenshot. You can find audiobooks by going to "Videos" section after searching. The actual length is 6:35:19 but its shown as 6:35 only(Which might get confused as 6 minutes 35 seconds)(though full book plays)

If you look at this screenshot, it shows 0:51 as played out of 6:35. Only 51 seconds out of 6 hour 35 minutes are played, but the placing of those digits makes it look like 51 minutes has been played.

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Have about 50-60 songs in library
2. Play any song, also press the shuffle button (intersecting lines)
3. After 10-15 songs it will simply stop, all 60 songs wont be shuffled

Expected behavior

All the songs in library get shuffled

Actual behavior

Only 10-15 songs play, after that playback pauses. Pressing next song button does nothing.

The queue of songs have all the songs well shuffled, but it simply stops playing after about 30-40 minutes of background playback.

Firstly, thank you for the app. This is exactly what i was looking for from a long time.

When i download a song, where is it getting saved, or is it getting saved anywhere at all, as i am not able to locate the file on my phone. Also download takes a while, which surprises me as newpipe extractor should not be taking that long.

If you press on a song in the Songs section, the app starts playing that song. If you press on a song in the Artists or in the Playlists section the app will not load the song

If you have two songs with different artist in the library, e.g. A1 and A2, and you rename one artist's name (e.g. A1) to the second one (e.g. A2) the app doesn't merge the artists but the app keeps on maintaining two different artists with same name instead of merging both in a single artist

You can look through songs but not through artists and playlists

Title is little confusing. Here are steps

1. Go to explore tab. Icon turns blue
2. Search anything on explore
3. Keeping the search as is switch to any other tab on the bottom like artist, songs etc.
4. Now go back to explore tab
5. You will see it's icon won't turn blue even if it's the current tab

Describe the bug
Suddenly my wifi connection broke and Music crashed while I was searching for a song.

I suggest to add a method to determine if Internet connection is off (turned off or not working) and to display an error

3. Turn off any kind of connection (wifi and 4G)

I was in my car while playing some songs via bluetooth. When I turned off the car, music kept playing via speaker.
It should not work in that way, or at least there should be an option to set the correct behaviour

I'd like to manually sort songs, playlists and artists

If you play a song, the player in the bottom part covers the last song of a list. You have to close the player by swiping down in order to interact with the covered song

I found some bugs:

1. Sometimes the application crashes, something to do with saving the track and switching the Explore and Songs section
2. Timer bugs, sometimes it displays the time incorrectly and freezes
3. Text bugs, quite rare, but sometimes the title of the track is shifted

P.S. Some wishes)

2. You can also make a registration system for saving tracks and the ability to use your audio library on different devices

It seems Song Download is not working.

If you play a song among others and you shuffle the playlist, the ongoing song should be the first of the list.

App crashes when I find some song in the first section, ordered by name, and I quickly move the right bar, maybe because I have 2000+ songs in my library.

Even if app if removed from recent apps, keep playing the song and keep the notification intact. In Newpipe also songs keep playing even if you remove the app from recent apps.

In a queue, some songs are louder than others. To solve this an option of Replay Gain Normalization can be introduced in settings ( disabled by default).

Is there any way to support you (financially?....)

Still have 2 suggestions for improvement: There should be a kind of backup in which you can save the app settings and in which the created playlists and added songs to library.
If you change your phone, you could simply restore the file and you would not have the work of adding the playlists and songs again.
2. in the playlists could also be added a button to download the entire playlist.

Maybe in the next updates feasible?

There are some songs that show up on the normal YouTube search but do not show up on any of the searches of YouTube Music. For example there was this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8TIB7DMRF8 that I was not able to find on this app but it was easily searchable on Newpipe

You can sort songs alphabetically but just from Z to A, not viceversa

There's no song. What's the problem? I'm using the latest version. I live in Korea. Is it a problem in Korea?

I've just found out about this amazing app! I've been waiting for someone to develop a music-focused application based on the NewPipe Extractor, and you've managed to do that with a simple, great user interface!

Unfortunately I'm not able to play songs on my device. When trying to play songs from the Explore section and even downloaded ones the app crashes instantly. Sometimes the song starts playing but the app crashes anyway. I believe the problem is somehow related to my Android version, 12. I'm sending you the crash log I got:

Local music player support for any audio files saved in the phone.

Device - Pixel 4a (A12)

I use an equalizer app (Poweramp Equalizer) to make my headphones sound a bit better and sadly while I was testing music I discovered poweramp can't detect it as a music player.

This also happened with other equalizers I tested (Wavelet, etc.) so it's definitely a problem with how music is broadcasting its music notification that's not allowing 3rd party apps to detect it as a music player.

I'm not sure about the details myself but I know this is possible to do as many other music apps properly show up. It would be great if this could be fixed so I could use music while adjusting my headphones to sound the way I want to.

Search anything on Explore, go to "Playlists" tab of the search and press add to library on any song. It won't add. Interestingly it looks like songs without a playlist are getting added.

Cool would be a way to save the artists and playlists.

I am planning to change my phone. As it stands now, I have to recreate all artists and playlists on the new phone. At this point a backup would be really useful to save the work.
Offer add such an option, please 👃

I took a picture of what I see on the app and what I see on my car's screen. The app should send data about artists and album, instead those fields are empty.

I am using 0.13-beta via F-Droid, so it may be fixed in 0.20-dev

How to translate the app?

1. Open the app
2. Open Settings
3. Press Artists in the lower part
4. Press Songs in the lower part.

It should open song list, instead it opens the settings

If i'm home, connected to home wifi and music is playing and then I leave and mobile data is activated, playback will stop and the progress halts. The song needs to be started at the beginning.

If I click a YouTube link from outside the app, make the app show in the list of apps that can open such links
