daedalus's Issues

Cant enter sleep mode while running Daedalus on psp 2000

I have a psp 2000 with 6.61 pro-c infinity, when I run Daedalus it works fine but when I try to put the psp in sleep mode it wont do anything till I exit the game to xmb. I tested running other Homebrew and iso's to try and narrow down the problem but I can go into sleep mode fine doing that so I am not too sure what the problem is.

[BUG] Daedalus freezes when resuming suspend on Vita

Describe the bug
When Daedalus is open and the Vita is suspended, upon resuming, Daedalus will be frozen.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Launch Daedalus on a Vita through Adrenaline. This works in the menu as well as in game.
  • Press the power button to suspend the Vita.
  • Press the power button again to resume.
  • Daedalus is frozen and

Expected behavior
Daedalus continues where it left off before you suspended.

Device:

  • Device: PlayStation Vita PCH-1001
  • FW: 3.65 Enso, Adrenaline Version 6.8
  • Daedalus Version 1.1.6

Additional context
Attempting to save state using Adrenaline seems to hang as well.
I found this issue on Adrenaline 6.1, updating to the latest version did not fix this.

Static recompilation

copied from issues.md

Static recompilation! Recompile instructions in advance and give them to the PSP at runtime, saving the dynarec a lot of work and in theory bringing big speedups (Mario 64 ran perfectly on a 166MHz Pentium 3 with static recompilation...)

[BUG] Daedalus currently does not detect if it is running on a Vita or not. This causes crashes with async audio.

Describe the bug
Running Daedalus on a ps vita through adrenaline with async audio mode on, Daedalus will crash.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. install Daedalus on a ps vita without deleting MediaEngine.prx
  2. turn on async mode

Expected behavior
Daedalus detects that it's running on a ps vita, and does not use the media engine for asynchronous audio
