people like to see who's in the call and since we will limit the video streams to the user that have talking permissions, you will only see a list of names for most users.

what about asking the user in the "setup room" to snap a photo and ask him/her if it's ok to show it to the others. If yes, show it, if now, choose random avatar.

Since you can't really show many pictures in a list, what about to show a grid of all heads underneath the video component? this way it would look like ONE BIG converence

It would be nice if @leandrolerena list component would be used (or at least inherited from it) for this and either show the list or the grid and be positioned in different places depending on what is shown... just an idea ;)
the controll of the speaking would be the same. people that would like to speak have a yellow border around them, if they are allowed they have a green one

Please somebody with a little bit of design skills ...
it would be super awesome if we have some minimal UX experience or at least some ... oho, this looks cool effect for the GLP lab.

1. please remove all unneeded clutter (all those buttons/icons)
2. give it a bit color and make it a happy place

also note that they seem to be using the same stack nuxt/vuetify/... and might solve some of the same problems (maybe get some inspiration?)

this might be an option to only show the local audio visuals, to show them for every speaker, something simpler might be good

Users / chat panel

what about not only asking a user for a pic (#17) but asking if they could

• raise their hand
• be happy / agree
• sad / disagree

If a user would like to speak, he/she could click on their "raised" hand pic and in the gallery view the normal pic would be replaced with this one ... everbody else would get an update

if we implement a very simple "do you like this idea?" poll, people could like on their happy / sad pic and you would see the result in the gallery (besides just seeing the numbers).

how cool is this? the happy / sad pics could also be snapped once the moderator does the first poll and kept thereafter for future polls in this session
