This also pops up in the print
function:

I got this working by building with --with-python=/usr/bin/python3
so that it would find a matching python3-config
.

Quick question. I notice that all the linux builds including nightly require python2. Any ETA on when the dependencies for those builds will be updated to python3?
from zeekctl.
The dependencies actually depend a bit on the distribution. Especially the newer rpm-based distributions use python3 - for the apt ones I have not changed that because we have much less control for per-distribution-choosing of dependencies.
That being said - you are right - at least for nightly I should just switch it to python 3. I will do that next week.
