when a video has been loaded into local cache, the buffering progress bar is fine.

But when a big video is loaded the first time, it could take quite some time to load into cache.

I think its too hard to think of a way to start playing a partitially cached video from buffer, so for now lets look into if its possible to show the percentage loaded into cache while still loading, like with p2p clients like utorrent.

You should test this before claiming it works yourself, you should clone A NEW CHANNEL FROM YOUR CFRB.... , THEN UPLOADING California Dreaming WEBM, then SEE IF THIS GETS SHOWN AND PLAYED ON:

Local of course always works, so that is no testing, the real test is always if it works on bit.no.com.

That is against any sane logic to implement, there needs to be a way to just use one format for distribution.

on central, you click on a new video of a newly added channel, and even it shows loading loading loading, at the end the "file is not found"...
then you go to the channel website of that video and you see in the right sidebar, that 0.00 MB of xx.xx MB havre been downloaded from optional files.
That looks like the main central site still doesnt trigger optional files to be downloaded, it could be that each channel is simply too big and triggers all those unneccessary files to be downloaded while the optional files even if clicked are not downloaded into cache...
