Core addon backport from retail by Barsoomx: (https://github.com/Barsoomx/DBM-wowcircle).

This repository aims to deliver more accurate timers and features from retail to all four Warmane WotLK realms - Icecrown, Lordaeron, Frostmourne and Onyxia.

HOW TO INSTALL FOR THE FIRST TIME

Disclaimer: If you have used DBM before and you wish to save old DBM profiles, backup your WTF folder, because we will be performing a clean install as this is a retail backport and therefore it is not compatible with 2010's version of DBM. To proceed with the clean installation process, do the following steps:

  1. On your addons folder (Interface/Addons), select every DBM folder (everything that starts with DBM-) and delete them.
  2. On your SavedVariables folder (WTF/Account/[AccountName]/SavedVariables), select every DBM file (everything that starts with DBM-) and delete them. THIS STEP WILL REMOVE YOUR DBM CONFIGURATIONS/PROFILES!
  3. On each of your Characters SavedVariables folder (WTF/Account/[AccountName]/[ServerName]/[CharacterName]/SavedVariables). Select every DBM file (everything that starts with DBM-) and delete them. THIS STEP WILL REMOVE YOUR DBM CONFIGURATIONS/PROFILES!

With no remnants of old DBM files we are now ready to start the installation process.

  1. Download the addon from the main repository (https://github.com/Zidras/DBM-Warmane/archive/refs/heads/main.zip).
  2. Inside the zip file, open DBM-Warmane-main. Copy/Paste all those folders (DBM-Core, DBM-GUI, etc) into your addons folder (Interface/Addons). DO NOT put the DBM-Warmane-main folder directly into the addon folder, it will not work.
  3. Load your game client into your character selection screen. On the bottom left corner, click AddOns and enable all the DBM entries like so: image image

HOW TO KEEP THE ADDON UPDATED

Updating DBM follows the standard procedure that applies to any addon installation. Everytime there are new changes*, do these steps:

  1. Download the addon from the main repository (https://github.com/Zidras/DBM-Warmane/archive/refs/heads/main.zip).
  2. Inside the zip file, open DBM-Warmane-main. Select all the folders (DBM-Core, DBM-GUI, etc) and press Copy (Ctrl+C).
  3. (Advisable) On your addons folder (Interface/Addons), before pasting, select the DBM folders that are there and delete them (you will not lose your profiles doing this, don't worry - those are on WTF folder and there is no need to touch that anymore). This ensures that there is no remnant file that could potentially conflict with latest releases.
  4. On your addons folder (Interface/Addons), Paste (Ctrl+V) the previously copied folders here. DO NOT put the DBM-Warmane-main folder directly into the addon folder, it will not work.

*To know when there are changes, you can Star/Watch this repository on GitHub (this requires a GitHub account) to receive notifications. Additionally, you can join the Discord server where there is a dedicated channel that posts everytime there is a new commit.

QUICK START

To open the options window, type /dbm into your chat and hit enter or use the minimap icon. For more commands, type /dbm help.

[REQUEST] Pain and Suffering radar on LK P2 and P4

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
We had a change on LK fight on Lordaeron, on transition Pain and Suffering is doing way more damage than normal so it's important to spread better behind Raging Spirits.

Describe the solution you'd like
It would be nice to have a radar to see how DPS are spread behind the Raging Spirit to avoid having to heal too much.

If I reload once or twice, the errors disappear from buggrabber, but they will appear again, intermittently.

I've tried removing all of my old WTF files, but errors persist.

I'm done and left the event dungeon group, but the bar is still there and isn't the bar supposed to automatically disappear if you're not in the dungeon?
I don't know what it's about 15min of LFG cooldown

suggestion hide golden counter and audio in combat

suggestion, an option in configuration the golden counter and audio of the dbm pull hide in combat (for players who do not respect the dbm pull)

I like the golden counter and the audio, but there are players that do not respect the dbm pull, and, in combat, the counter covers the entire screen

on Vali please add the Abom counter as we have for Suppressers
there are tactics where a few initial Abom are killed and the 4th and later go into the shackle and such a counter would help

[REQUEST] Normal/Heroic mode in DBM pull timer

In other releases of DBM when you do a /dbm pull xx it says normal or heroic. This would be nice to have here:

[REQUEST] Frostmourne Sunwell Updates

Sunwell 1st boss Kalecgos (and Sathrovarr)

Request: Add a 5 minute (300s) enrage timer. ( was not in the original fight, but has been added on frostmourne)

Request: a pull reset is often used to get into position after pulling and resetting the boss. the boss respawns after 30 seconds whereupon the fight begins. Sadly this seems to bug out the dbm.
Is there a way to fix this?

Sadly my logs broke on this encounter, but I have personally timed it twice to exactly 8 minutes and 20 seconds (500s) as opposed to 10 minutes

Sunwell 4th boss, Eredar twins

Request: Change enrage timer 300s (5 minutes)

Request: Conflagration warning: is it possible to put a mark on the person the boss is casting it on, with a warning to move out of 8 yards? (mostly for melee, since ranged is already spread)

[BUG]

Describe the bug
Timers for Ragnaros in Molten Core break; I.E stop displaying.

Submerge/Emerge

  • This timer breaks and stops displaying some times.
    The issue seems to be that it breaks on the second Submerge.
    But it might also be that if Wrath of Ragnaros is on CD when the Submerge phase begins, and comes of CD during the transition.
    Further, it might also be related to the Sons of Flame - we leave one alive beyond his Emerge time sometimes.

    My guess is that since no Emerge timer is set, not call for WoR to be set is made and thus it only comes back once the alternative trigger a cast occurs since:
  • This timer will start anew and properly track subsequent casts once WoR has been cast once after the timer breaking.

Context
It is entirely possible that this encounter should only include one Submerge, and that upon the second Submerge Ragnaros stays down until the raid is wiped or goes into some sort of enraged mode. Our MC is tweaked to challenge the players and so I bid you take any such possible change into account.
The Wikis make no mention of any such limit on the phases though and indeed it is implied in various places that the fight can take very long to finish; having many phase transitions would then be a matter of course.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start a fight with Ragnaros
  2. Pay close attention to timers during Submerge/Emerge transitions

Expected behavior
The timer for Submerge/Emerge displays time left until the next transition.
The timer for WoR starts at 25s each time Ragnaros Emerges, not matter what CD state it had when he Submerged.

[BUG] "Set music to be played inside dungeons/raids" not playing any music at all

Describe the bug
When zoning into an instance, the default music for it plays and not the music set, it does not work when zoning in manually and zoning in from RDF.

  1. Type /dbm
  2. Go to "Event Sounds"
  3. Change "Set music to be played inside dungeons/raids" to Ulduar: Titan Orchestra or any other music
  4. Zone into dungeon/raid

The set music should start to play after zoning in.

Inaccurate timers in ToC/ToGC on Frostmourne

Describe the bug
The DBM timers for ToC/ToGC are incorrect on Frostmourne. This includes the first Stomp/Rising Anger on Gormok, Icehowl's Massive Crash, Jaraxxus' Combat Start and Anub'Arak's Emerge/Submerge timers. I'm using the latest DBM-Coliseum folder uploaded.

Issue with /dbm unlock

/dbm unlock is pretty broken, it creates the "unlock" bar, but it is not movable and it also throws a LUA error

DBM doest not support EPGP addon

Describe the bug
In our guild we are using EPGP loot system. With the regular DBM, we were able to distribute EP points after each boss kill. With Zidras DBM, this feature stopped working. I have found in EPGP lua files that DBM is required for this feature.

Additional context
As far as I understood, Zidras DBM is re-worked from DBM for later WoW patches, so my expectation is that some boss kill event is used by EPGP that probably changed by the time. It would be nice have this fixed even that bug is related to another addon :)

Describe the bug
When she cast Flame beacon i didnt saw people with the marks on head. They where marked on the DBM chat message's but no markers on the players.

PS. I've got Asisst on the raid, wasn't leader.

[BUG] Not Showing warning

Describe the bug
DBM doesn't show warning for the ability ''Disrupting Shout'' from the creature ''Deathbound Ward'' in ICC.
If you go to options DBM - WOTLK - ICC - TRASH - ICECROWN TRASH.
First line in ''General Announces'' it says ''Show warning for Disrupting Shout'' and everything is enabled.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'Icecrown Citadel raid'
  2. Walk on hidden trap and spawn Deathbound Ward.
  3. Wait for Deathbound Ward to cast Disrupting Shout.

Expected behavior
Clear warning that tells you to stop cast.

[BUG] Error on Sartharion pull

Describe the bug
On two occasions when pulling sartharion and entering combat (first hit?) i was getting an error.. i didn't manage to copy both parts of it though, so not sure if this is enough

[REQUEST]auto mark Kinetic on BPC

is it possible for DBM to set the mark on Kinetic (BPC) ?
let's say:
The 1st kinetic is a square, the 2nd circle and the 3rd triangle - the 1st disappears and the 4th appears and gets the square

this would make it easier for people in the raid to keep an eye on which kinetic they are responsible for
