mp-crossprocess's Issues

Validate Cross Process compatibility across devices and OS Versions

This Issue May Be Closed When

  • There is a fleshed out compatability table in the feature definition (ideally based upon market share?)
  • The feature definition is copied into the source repository under features/compatibility.feature
  • The feature definition may be stepped through manually (probably from a testflight build)
  • There is a build on TestFlight that we can ask the community to check against the compatibility table that we are confident works on iOS 14 and iOS 13 and our personal devices.
  • There are release notes indicating the improved compatibility in RELEASE_NOTES.md

Feature Definition

Feature: Cross-Device and OS Compatibility

Scenario: CrossProcess works across a variety of iOS devices and OS Versions
   Given a build of CrossProcess
When I run it on the following devices:
   | os | device |
   | ios 14 | iPhone XS Max |
    # TODO: FILL THIS OUT WITH TARGET DEVICES
Then I can grant permissions to access my camera
And I can grant permissions to access my photo library
And I can take a photo and apply the filters
And I can apply the filters to a photo from my library
And I can save a filtered photo to my library
And I can share a filtered photo through the share widget

Photographer may choose consistent exposure levels

Subject: Exposure Increase
Message: I’ve been using the “basic” filter to edit my photos for almost 10 years now and I absolutely love it. I’ve yet to discover a filter that highlights green and black the way “basic” does. One caveat is that the exposure on the right side of the photo is increased whereas the left side appears to be decreased. Is there any way to make that optional?
Thanks for your time.

Cross Process is not working on iOS 16

Starting to receive reports that Cross Process is not working on the latest iOS.

Interim Remediation: Uninstalls and Reinstalls should fix it

Long-term: It would be lovely if we could get ahead of the curve and build for future iOS versions on CI.

Photographer may apply Cross Process filters to RAW formatted Photographs

Well,
It is the only app i like to take pictures on my iphone with, and that for over 6 years already. So big thank you for that.
I do have a question though. If i would like to create a look, similar to the one i get on cross process (i have all colour filters except blue and extreme turned off)
How would i be able to generate that look on bigger rawfiles from a dslr?
Do you give me a hint?
Have a nice christmas and new years,
And thanks again for your joyful app

Cross Process may not be saving pictures to Camera Roll

We got a report from a user that the photos are not being saved correctly

This Issue May Be Closed When

  • We can reliably reproduce Cross Process failing to save pictures
  • We have resolved the defect in a build
  • We have added it this fix to the RELEASE_NOTES.md file in the projects root
  • We have a build on TestFlight with the fix in place.

Photographer may use CrossProcess filters for in-place processing in Photos.app

It would be AWESOME if you took the crossprocess code and made a Photos app adjustments “extension” for in-place processing. Maybe just a stripped down one-step action that uses the current settings from the crossprocess app? Would be so cool. I’d totally pay for a new version of CP with just that addition!

Share May be Broken

We've received reports that the Share Function may be broken in Cross Process 2.8
