Hi,

Posting this here since I couldn't think of a better place to put it.

Is there any way to have a time like 8:24 shown in the upper bar in 12-hour time and without an am/pm marker? I have this configured on my phone and I really miss it in KDE with this applet.

My rational for choosing this format is that I generally know whether it's morning or evening just from the time of day, and when I'm looking at the clock I'm looking for an exact time. I don't need am or pm markers and 8:24pm is significantly less small and nice looking than 8:24.

I realize this is a bit of a niche feature, but it would be quite nice if it could be included. Thanks.

It would be great if you could add support for the Outlook.com Agenda. That way, I could actually start using this applet :)

Love the applet - a vast improvement over the stock, and a delight to look at.

Could I please ask for an option to set first day of week - in my locale (AU) we use Monday as the first day of the week, and have Sat/Sun adjacent at the right side usually.

I echo the outlook sync request however it could lead to trouble if as you add more to the calendar, double clicking a day will open multiple Web pages instead of one desired one, this may be obviated I think by syncing to a pim instead, ideally a third party one thunderbird (for various reasons). Also just a thought, is it possible to have other todo list makers integrate into this (in thinking zanshin, or qmarkdown or nextcloud app). And final how do you get non western calendars up, like the Chinese or Persian calendar? Otherwise I love the progress made, many thanks, I would help if I had any coding knowledge at all

Open the even calendar, hover the agenda then try to scroll. If I do it with the mouse is nice, but with the touchpad I scroll by weeks instead of days.

is it possible to add toggling of google calendars from widget UI in addition to defining visible calendars inside widget settings?

→this is fresh install before any configuration. as seen on attached picture holiday displays twice. if reload button is pushed (one at the bottom, there is no balloon tip over it, so i don't know it's name) all holidays multiply itself (so few presses results in absolutely bloated ) these entries cannot be deleted – entry to delete is greyed out.

→ personal note cannot be added to any chosen day – i input text, press „enter” and it all disappears.

It would be great to be shown in this widget as well.

https://openweathermap.org/help/city_list.txt was removed. We now need to download the city list from http://bulk.openweathermap.org/sample/ as a .json.gz. I'm uncertain if this can be done with just javascript. I might have to forgo downloading a list, and instead just search for a city using the API endpoint.

Hello, firstly thank you for your great Calendar widget :)
I found one unpleasant bug - when Events->Holidays is checked the events are shown but are actually one day earlier in Bulgaria. Let say that 24 may is our Culture and Literacy Day but in the widget it is shown one day earlier - 23 may. All holidays are affected by this bug. It'll be great if you can fix it. Thank you :)
P.S.:
When Google Calendar->Holidays in Bulgaria is checked the holidays are shown correctly but are in english. Events->Holidays shows them in Bulgarian language which makes this option prefered. but it's buged for now :)

It is often necessary to insert a certain date in the text. Will be good to have a feature in Event Calendar widget for quick copy to clipboard selected date in format, pre-defined by user, via click/doubleclick/rightclick on calendar item.

The link (https://openweathermap.org/help/city_list.txt) that is given in the Select city section is not correct that is why nothing is displayed.

As seen in issue #17, debugging network errors is painful.

• All day events don't duplicate.

• A) Right click > Set Timer > Dialog to enter duration
• B) Ability to edit the timer text directly (make it a TextInput)

Edit: Seems the user thinks the context menu => popup is best.

This is a fantastic widget. Thank you so much. It allows google calendar integration without having to depend on Akonadi, which is a great thing.

Would it be possible to add Weather Summary into the panel. Something like an icon about whether it is cloudy or sunny etc. And along with it the temperature.

It's also possible that since we were not translating javascript files (*.js) that it returned an empty string for shortDateFormat.

I cannot reproduce with KDE Neon / Qt 5.11, so it's arch specfic.

System date is correct, but the calendar is marking Today's date as yesterday. See picture.

This is happening in my Antergos desktop, which runs in my office behind a proxy. On the other hand, my notebook runs Manjaro and it works correctly there.

I believe its quite common to have multiple calendars across multiple accounts such as mixing personal and business calendars.

Would it be possible to make it so we can add more than one Google account and their respective calendars?

Pls add that you can choos your own server as carddav server instead of google calendar...

Not sure of the performance impact of this, so I'll test with it first.

Further to my closed (non)issue here: #11, it would be a nice workaround if users could add their own names/titles to timezones eg instead of this:

I could add ICT (or Thailand, or even the name of the person that lives there) as the title to personalise it a bit more.

I don't know why, maybe daylight sabing that started today, but my Event Calendar now looks like this, it does not load correctly when I open it.

I'd like to be able to add an .ics file (exported from .org) without having to either (a) put it on a publically-accessible webserver (which could provide a path for Google Calendar to import the file) or (b) manually upload changed versions to Google Calendar. And, more generally, for privacy-purposes, it would be nice to be able to add calendar files without having to hand them over to Google.

I see that you mention considering an option to add a local .ics in read-only mode in connection to another issue (#12 ) and that would be exactly what I'm thinking about.

i cannot get it to display nice and tidy as default clock with date can.

i think the problem is too big spacer between date and clock. there is no set of setting to fix that.

Hey I am trying to achieve this:

I am using "Day of week" and "Day of month" applets to achieve that, but prefer to just use one applet. This is what I have on Line 1: |h:mm AP.

So this is what I've tried:

The first one seems to work on the preview, but once applied, plasma crash and I had to revert the changes manually inside ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc , in order to start up. The second one does not work in the preview nor the actual display, but at least it does not crash plasma.

Regarding the crash, I tried running the applet under plasmoidviewer in the hopes I get more info but nothing except:

fish: “plasmoidviewer --applet org.kde…” terminated by signal SIGSEGV (Address boundary error)

P.S. this test was made with version 51, and 55.

Is it possible to accommodate this feature?

If I deselect Holidays under Plasma calendar plugin, holidays are not really discarded.
Moreover, the same holiday event is repeated many times.

It seems this plugin is handling calendar itself. However, KDE already provides KOrganizer as an aggregation of calendars (not only google calendar).

It would be nice to have integration with KOrganizer. I.e. can read calendar events from KOrganizer.

How come there is an option with only one setting? "DoubleClick Date" only allows "Open New Event in Browser", there is no way to turn this off.

Alternatively, it would be nice to run a custom command to open a calendar application installed on the system.
