ZC-DM PLUGIN

Team Orpheus

This is a direct message (DM) plugin created by Team Orpheus for the overall HNGi8 project. The DM plugin will give the users of Zuri chat the ability to send private messages and messages in a group chat, use different functionalities such as emoji's, attach files, directly mention users in a chat, change fonts, use ordered lists amongst other various functionalities to send messages. This plugin aims to serve the entire Zuri Chat.

This project is a monolith application.

Create file list

As a user I want to be able to see a list of files shared with me

Auto Reply

Saved auto reply response based on some conditions, if met.

Sending message to a user for the first time,
Been offline for a long time...e.tc.

Last seen status

user should be able to see the “last seen” status of who they are chatting with.

Share location

I want to be able to share my location with the person I'm chatting with

Add theme

As a user I want to be able to change the background and text color of a particular dm chat

Message schedule

As a user, I want to be able to schedule when my messages will send.

Text formatting

Be able to format text by making them bold, italic or underlined.

Media and files

A user should be able to send files (pdfs, docs, etc) and media (MP4, jpeg, mp3, gif etc)

Starred message

Implement starring important messages to be visited later.

Search feature

Be able to search for messages by writing keywords of the message.
