Hello, I have updated to the latest version but when I try to add new characters into a class none of them appear to be available to choose. If I try to load an existing save and play it, my characters will go bald and interaction with other NPCs will crash the game.
I have reverted back to the previous version and everything is working again.
Just like the title says, I keep getting this error when I run the .bat file.
aa2play.exe doesn't appear to be aa2 play/edit exe file
Anyway to fix it?
I have everything in the folder even the DLL and yet the same LoadLibrary error appears. I can't see anything else I can do. :I I tried looking up a video but nothing. I'm just not understanding what went wrong since everything is in place. I downloaded the latest release, did the steps and didn't work. I used the master unlimited and still didn't work.
I put everything from the Unlimited folder into the play folder and still nothing. Also it doesn't detect a modded play I have. It's a modded play someone made for yaoi scense to be enabled. It detects the edit EXE though.
Hi there, thanks for the fantastic mod, but I find a problem that the body slider which is changing the face parts(eyebrow, eyes and mouth) doesn't work.
I have tried all sliders and all of them are working expect the slider of the face parts.
here is the screenshots of the eyebrow slider, have already try in both female and male character making mode but both of them doesn't work.
I was wondering if it would be posible to add a POV mode in H-Scenes like some modders added to the most recent (and some older) ILLUSION games. This would be a great addition to the game.
The idea would be, pressing a button, switches between the guy to girl POV or the active girl to passive girl POV in case of yuri.

The AA2Unlimited Windows 10 fps fix no longer works as of the latest version of Windows.
Note that this update was pulled from Windows update earlier this month due to it deleting peoples files after installing via Windows update, so most people don't have an issue yet. I encountered the problem by using a new Windows 10 LTSC ISO during a clean install. The updates will be pushed to others in the coming months.
Without the fix enabled, the game runs, just with the low fps issue.
The included zip file has the aaucrash.dmp file as well as both new d3d9.dll files from system32 and syswow64 folders.

Whenever I try to open my class roster normally, the game always crashes without fail. I've tried deleting every character, making a new game and even re-installed everything.
I've posted the files you recommended (Hopefully, I don't know if it actually uploaded.)
I've also posted a photo of the error, don't know if it'll be much help though.
Found out about this and it coaxed me into reinstalling this old project that I partially helped worked on translating/editing. It's highly impressive people have hacked it this extensively. A poser! I would've been so, so happy to see this back in the day. (A full-fledged studio would be amazing... but maybe a bit unrealistic, meaning PPD will have to remain the best studio for Yayoi, probably.)
Anyway, I began tinkering with the newly-expanded character stuff, but one thing I found irked me - if you adjust sliders, there's no real quick and easy way to reset them, or to have any sort of gradation/steps - it's all smooth unless you enter an exact value, and any/all resetting is done by manually highlighting the number and setting it to zero. Worse, the field doesn't even accept Ctrl+A, so you have to manually highlight the value with mouse to set it to zero.
This is a couple moves too many for when you just want to see what a value actually does and how it makes your character look. There's more than enough room for a "reset" button here, next to each entry field, or at least make it accept Ctrl+A so we can click in the field, select all, and smack a zero (although a reset button would be quicker still).
PS: Zetthigh Ryouiki made me smirk, but it's both perhaps a little deceptively named (and some might argue too weeb). Especially as it's got nothing to really do with actual Zettai Ryouiki. Although I admit it's hard to think of what else it could be named, given the multiple thigh bits.
PPS: It's ironic seeing one of the creators of this project nicknamed after a name I translated... and Gen'Ei isn't even a proper fucking name - 幻影 literally means "phantasm/illusion/apparition." That is, it was Illusion being a bit cute.

. I tried to figure out how you do it but as far as I understand it's some ASM black magic, do you redirect the game's "move camera to the neck/chest/hips" call? If so then the same can be done for all game's camera adjustments, excluding the LMB-drag because it already acts like it should(changing pitch/yaw)I'll add more if I think of something

With homosex enabled, both me and my friend get the same error where the finishing positions do not actually climax. Leaving the H scene simply crashes the game. I can provide the dump log if necessary. We both had used the More Cumming Positions mod and then a clean reinstall without it, with the same error no matter what. This has been tried with the fixes option in unlock and without it as well.
Another question I had was regarding how AAU and AA2 initializes H-scenes with f/f couples. Sometimes I get H-AI scenes where the PC is the active partner (usually evil H-AI), and other scenes where the PC is the passive partner (large chance in forced H-AI, but sometimes the PC is active; seems to depend on the NPC). What exactly triggers this? I know when an NPC asks the PC for H, it does seem to also randomize who starts as the active partner and who starts as the passive partner.
Is it possible to some day add an option to toggle H-AI without it having to specifically be a forced/evil or module related scene? Such as in AA1, asking the NPC a certain option did make the scene AI-controlled.
So, I'm too lazy to dig through the 4chan thread and I also don't have time to do so.
That's literally what happens everytime it starts.
Well, basically, this is what I did.
-> Got AA2 v14 (pre-install) and patched it with the HF patch
-> Installed some uncensor mod (MKIII I think)
-> Got the two Append Sets + all the other DLCs by myself ;-;
-> Had a real hard time to get the HEXACC and HEXA hair pack mods (also to make these work together, for some reason)
-> Installed 3DRooms mod with AA2Install
-> Installed AA2Unlimited just like it's meant to be installed.
-> Game crashes every H-scene.
P.S.: I might have forgotten some important steps, but bear with me. I got this game in 2016.

Can't ask /aa2g/ since I'm banned pls halp.
I put the file in the same directory as AA2Play.exe, run bat, get a popup that says "Unhandled exception Code:0xC06D007E Address:0x7478B832 Do you want to write aaucrash.dmp?" and the cmd lingers for a few seconds before closing.
Even tried running as admin (which I know you said not to do but desperate times desperate measures) and I get "Run DLL There was a problem starting AAUnlimitedDLL.dll The specified module could not be found."
I keep getting a recurring crash that happens at seemingly random times, usually when I'm viewing a character in the Roster screen or initiating a conversation in game. I can usually get into 10-20 mins of the game without any problems but I eventually encounter the crash error.
This is the error I receive-

Just like the title says, the game crashes when attempting to 3P, although it does it after dialogue when the H-Scene would normaly start.

I uploaded the .rar with the crash on mega, though my aaucrash.dmp was in the AA2 folder instead of being in the AAUnlimited folder. (not sure if this matters)
First time i clicked in "install.bat" it started and showed the directory, but when i clicked in "ok" it suddently closed, and nothing happened. Now when i try to install again the bat file open but close instantly and create a file named "logfile".

As you may know, if you have multiple h partners, its almost impossible to have all the poses availible with them wthout modding the H-style.lst file or editing the values with a save editor or the AA2 Trainer.
Would it possible to add an option that let the h-compat. values to increase normally and freeze them in a way that they never decrease, even if you have more than a h-partner?
After trying to start the day (Go to school), the game crashes with that error. The game worked mostly fine before this, only crashing on occasion at seemingly random times, but after updating to 1.0.0 it just crashes instantly upon trying to start the day.
Edit: Okay, after a lot of messing around I have found out that one of my characters is causing the crash. I made a new save with mostly new characters, but I used some characters that were also in my previous save. After removing those characters, there is no crash. The old save was working perfectly fine before though, so could it be that something corrupted one or more of those characters?
As the title says. After double clicking install.bat a window opens and closes immediately.
I have both 2015 redistributables installed and I'm running Windows 10.
For vanilla personalities and for the school notifications, or whatever they're called, ("you practiced enthusiastically!") the text reverted back to Japanese. Official patch and modded personalities are still in English but everything else has gone kaput.
I patched AAU to the default AAPlay - as per installation instructions - which I hadn't used in years, so I can't remember if it was ever in English. As a test however, I patched the regularly used and fully functioning JSF version (backed up, don't worry) and it stopped translating the lines.
Oh, and while I have you, can anyone recommend a good Graphics tab loadout? I had my settings as preferred for ages and AAU had them fine but then suddenly cleared everything in the Graphics tab. I didn't memorise the exact checks and it took some guess-work and experimentation to get it mostly back but it's still a bit too HQ and it's impacting performance on my old machine. Ah, and the black bars at the top and bottom need to go but I have no idea how.
I made a mockup of what could be put into the poser dialog. Some features are taken and proven from SpoilerAL, while others were made up in the spot.

To begin with, I want to say that the program is simply wonderful, it introduces so much variety, it's a pity I learned about it not so long ago.
And now the actual question is whether there is an opportunity to make sure that the font of the Cyrillic alphabet is displayed correctly in the game.

Once upon a time a craftsman made Launcher supporting the Russian translation, but he has no special desire to update it, and the files themselves are stitched, I do not know whether this will be useful, but I will send them to you. And another question is not so important, but I'm interesting, can I change the font in the game? It would be nice to make it a script, changing one single file in the folder with the program.

Is it possible to add alternative hairstyle slots for cards?
The way I imagine it you'd have to store the alternative hairstyles(slots, flips, lengths, possibly color) and a copy of the original hairstyle in the AAU data.
In the game you'd have to add some kind of trigger(s) to switch between them(either a keypress, period, day of the week, going on a date, outfit, etc.) When it fires you basically set the card hairstyle to the predetermined alternative(like pony tail for sports periods) and switch it back when you don't need it.
No idea on how to go about the maker UI though. Maybe another number field called hairstyle or a preset number of styles(4?) with multiple tabs. Maybe even set the triggers in the maker?
As I understand it's simple to store the needed data and the whole work would be making it work in game.
AAUnlimited could duplicate slot data the regular card normally holds but use 4 bytes for storage. For example, this would allow for 4 billion hair slots. Practically unlimited slots. This could be accomplished by writing slot number data in the AAUnlimited area. During card load that data would be read instead of the card data, if it exists.
The old subtitle overlay from the HF patch had the option for the displayed text to have an outline and a shadow. These were black by default and, together with the white text, helped immensely with keeping the text readable on bright backgrounds.
Could similar settings be integrated into the recently added subtitles feature?
It won't overwrite the play exe due to a size mismatch. I used the hongfire patch and I believe this screwed me. Is there a fix or is this intended?
To enable proper user of the poser outside the clothes editor it would be great to have start and end events for conversations, interruptions and sex scenes that allow one to prepare the poser for the characters that are about to load.
I found the mod two days ago and ever since then I have been trying to get it to work on my laptop.
At first it would only patch AA2EDIT and would fail to patch AA2Play
After I reinstalled the game due to a modding mishap it refuses to patch either due to permission being denied.
Please help. I really want to use this mod.

I get this error on compile, All the dependencies listed are installed, i am using Windows 10 with Visual Studio 2015, i Tried building all but pp2 on win32 in release/Debug mode (no difference), i'd appreciate if someone could tell me what i am missing here or what i should do to fix this issue. Given the fact that the game wasn't supossed to have too much custom personalities, some of the personality volume sliders doesn't appear, appear misplaced or appear above an existent personality slider (look at AA1 Handsome slider over Carefree) when you have lots of custom personalities installed.
Here is an image that shows how they appear in the second page of the personality volume settings.
Now, would be possible to move them in a new page or rearrange them better in the same page?
It's a small change but it modifies the AAUnlimitedDll.rc which is also edited in the PR#18. Basically, I suggest resizing the sliders so that they fill the whole horizontal space. On my end I resized the sliders dialogue window and the slider within but there may be a better way that will dynamically fill all the available space.

Would it be possible to adjust the field of view of the camera during H scenes? Maybe it's just me, but I feel like when using (the fantastic) POV mode the FOV is too narrow.
Blush Fix in H-Scene
Blush option will be ignored and disappeared when the facial expression in-game changes. Same goes for Mouth, Eyes, Eyebrows option. Maybe there could be check box for 'lock' this options, or make it default to fix this options not to be changed in-game.
Strap-on bones fix
If you want this bones to be adjusted, you should add 'props skeleton'.
The critical issue is, Strap-on bones often don't follow the character's bone(the hip). It should be fixed.
And making it default to be adjustable(without props skeleton) would be good. Why not?
Animation for added char in H-Scene
Adding char to H-Scene is very good function and my favorite, while loading animation is also AAU's one of the good function. But load XA won't work for added char at all.
It would be great to use in H-Scene, make AA more variety of H-Scene in general. (Adding char at H-Scene is cool, but they just stand there like stone!)
Enhanced CharProps
Adding tab of 'CharProps' at Bones/Clothes/Light position. It works like props, but it also works with bones. Currently CharProps should be set in file to work properly as 'CharProps', but this tab makes available to any props to work like CharProps, by binding props into specific bones to character.
So it has option to select char and char's bone to bind with, and other slider to rotate, scale, and translate, and it would follow the bone's movement.
Save/Load for light
Newly added light is good, while you should set the value of light every time you turn on.
Save/Load just like Poses and Scenes would be good.
As it stands Test11 is a functional and more or less bug-free version. I suggest making a full-blown official release for it.
Test12 would have triggers and styles/sets: major features that would most likely be very broken at launch. Now's the best time to make an Official Release™ while it works.
Me and @geneishouko already agreed on it so I'd like @AA2Hackanon 's input. Also I could manage the releases myself if you want.
Only major releases should be in the Releases tab imo. All the intermediate test# releases would still be released like always. Might even follow a proper versioning system: v0.3.0.1, v.0.3.0.2, etc. v0.3.1 would be the official hotfixes if we messed up in some obvious way for release.
The moment I try to transfer a character in, or load a class file, this happens.
It was fine before, I was able to play it but I think I messed up my game files with some mods so I reinstalled everything and this occured.

In the interest of adding more functionality to AAUnlimited's side of the game there could be a main AAUnlimited window for AA2Play that lets us enable and disable any feature during runtime. Even better, it would let us implement a live class editor for the current loaded save. My initial plan is to enable and disable the poser at will during gameplay.

Character creation crashes when selecting a specific back hair for some reason. please help. Attached is a recording of the whole process
Edit: the source of the problem seems to be Back Hair no.89. still testing just in case.

Game crashes after some time in the second period. No problem occurs in the first. Always the second. I tried increasing the buffer sizes since that fixed a crash i had with the editor but to no avail.
I'm using v1.3 with AA2 Mini btw.
Edit: I reduced the buffer size to 800/150/150 and now i crash in the third period.

looks like someone added some header file called picojson, but didn't actually add it to the repository. I found a version on github, that seems to work, but i'd prefer if the one that added it adds his version to the repository (versions n stuff).
The game crashes at random intervals. I can sometimes play for up to an hour with no issues before getting a crash and sometimes it will crash within minutes of starting a game. I opened the crashdump and ran the .ecxr command and it said it was unable to verify AAUnlimitedDDL,ddl. I have next to know knowledge of debugging so this information is useless to me so any help from someone who knows what they're doing would be greatly appreciated. I should point out that I recently updated to version 1.3 AAUnlimited but the crashes occurred in the two prior versions as well. I installed the game with AAMini and followed the instructions to the latter so I don't think it's a problem with my install. I've attached the bug report, so hopefully someone can help me out.
