ComicReader:

Android application for reading comic strips over internet.

Common git commands that you may find helpful:

  1. Cloning -- git clone [email protected]:applications4android/ComicReader
  2. Staging the changes -- git commit -a -m ""
  3. Submitting the changes -- git push origin master
  4. Syncing your branch to TOT -- git pull origin master

Folder organization:

When you clone the repo you will see a folder named 'ComicReader' created. Given below is the organization of this folder:

  1. ComicReader --- Main source folder which contains the project-specific files
  2. ComicReaderTest --- Android JUnit test-cases for this project

Build

  1. Traditional Eclipse Way: You can just open the ComicReader project in Eclipse IDE and build as usual.
  2. Maven support: From the top folder, you can just run 'mvn' (thanks to moparisthebest).

Review the design suggestion by a customer

Richard from Sweden had come up with a nice suggestion on improving the looks for the main page of the ComicReader. Filing this issue to track this effort. Attached is an image that he'd sent us for reference.

Comics Reader Lost List, Forces Close Upon Retrieval

Hi, I'm running Android 2.3.4. The ComicReader was working fine until a couple of days ago when it just lost my list. I had backed it up, so I tried to restore it, but it will pop up the option to force close or Report. Usually I report.

I've found that even if I try to select new comics, the application will crash.

Please advise.
