It would be nice if the campfire configuration could get moved from ENV based to function argument based. As this is a library (as opposed to an application) it's probably better to not mix deployment environment knowledge into the framework.

For example, I would rather be able to use chef to deploy a config file than have to deal with setting environment flags in my upstart scripts file.

I would like to be able to say things to the channel without being provoked by a message. For example, if a timer goes off or an event happens somewhere else in my cluster.

I cloned the repository, did a go get on all the requirements, and then when I run the main.go in the simple example, I get:

Any ideas why?
