Dialogger not working

Hi! As I was searching for dialogue writing tools, I found your article on gamasutra. But when I try to use Dialogger, I get a bunch of errors in the console.

Uncaught TypeError: this.node.getTransformToElement is not a function
    at VElement.bbox (joint.js:17634)
    at child.positionRelative (joint.js:19891)
    at child.<anonymous> (joint.js:19776)
    at joint.js:9682
    at Function.forEach (joint.js:11876)
    at child.update (joint.js:19766)
    at child.update (joint.js:21965)
    at child.bound [as update] (joint.js:10155)
    at child.render (joint.js:19931)
    at child.render (dialogger.js:179)

Any help with that? Are you using a new dialogue writing tool now? I'm looking for one :)

questions on dialogger

Thanks for putting this out there!

I tried out the Dialogger some quick Qs:

  • what is the "choice" node type?
You said on your blog it presents a choice, but i only see one field and no [+] icon...
  • what is the "node" for?
just an interim node? how is this different from "text"?
  • there's some flicker when trying to connect nodes, is that a limitation of the joints library or something you noticed creep in as you were building this (chrome on os-X)
  • extension
to add other node types like for example an "image" or node properties, where would you suggest to look?

Linux build?

What would be required to port Lemma to a Linux platform?
