I added a task to add support for any Clang 7+ (should be impl in the next 1-2 weeks or so). Also, I'm working on Editor for Linux on this branch: https://github.com/FlaxEngine/FlaxEngine/tree/linux-editor

When you look at
the issue becomes clear. The build script looks for the hardcodedclang++-7 executable on your path. However many distros don't have that one. I solved the issue by creating a symlink to the clang++ (v7) binary.from flaxengine.

Just a heads up that we've recently added support for Clang 6+ version (tested 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 on both Ubuntu 18 and Ubuntu 20).
So I guess this should work fine.
Also, Editor for Linux is coming soon and can be already tested on master or 1.1 branch.
