Hi @tanmayythakur,
This issue is related to the Slow Deployment issue that we have been seeing: #4865. I would suggest trying the workarounds that you see in that thread.
Try going to the Explorer view, deleting the .sfdx and .sf folders, running Developer: Reload Window, reauthorizing your org, and deploy again. That seemed to be a common solution that worked for several users in that thread.
