In order to facilitate modifications of the project and forks (in accordance with the release license) of the code, design and parts, the original design files would be required.

This includes but is not limited to:

• STEP / model files
• PCB design files
• Circuit design files
• Anything relevant not mentioned yet

The ESPHome config file is required to modify the firmware. Included in the repository is only the files that ESPHome generated using the PlatformIO environment, but this is not enough to recreate the ESPHome project if any adjustments to firmware are required.

The original ESPHome config file comes in the form of a .yaml file.

What filament did you use to print the parts?

Is it okay if I use a nema 17 4.2 kgf? Same dimensions as the project, it can only hold more kgf

i already have all the peaces of petalot, but, for some reason the heater block just dont heat. I tested all the parts that could have a bad function or problem, and everything works properlly, but when i combine everything, doesn't heat. what could be the problem?

The strip is 0.25mm x 9mm.

The temperature I have changed to various points from 220-250C. I have also tried to lower the speed. The hotend is tested with thermometer and reads correct values. I already have ~10cm of pulled filament, but once the strip gets to its widest point, it refuses to pull, resulting in system failure. How can I fix this, thank you.

Did you have the schematic of the cutter drilling holes, so i can make it in the wood without print that piece?

when turning on the power psu start to beep simultaneously with led ob the motherboard. But whole system seems to be working. Can you tell what is wrong? Thanks

A recently set up everything and it works but accept for stepper motor I set up the the voltage 0.4 V the stepper motor doesnt do anything any noise any spin nothing THANKS for help

After flash the module it get into a loop reboot.

Re flash with original dump firmware from manufacture and get back to normal. ESP8266MOD USB-C type.

Thanks for making your amazing project publicly available.

I built it based on your provided schematic and used a 100k thermistor. Weirdly enough I get an unplausible temperature value in the UI with around -273°C (which is 0 Kelvin - so probably the measured value is unavailable for the calculation?). Of course, switching the thermistor leads does not change anything. Changing the R1 value in the settings does change the readings but not in a fruitful way. The heating stops at around 100°C (measured directly with an external probe at the nozzle).

I tried to figure out the causation of this by reading your code. But I must say, it is very advanced and I can't pin down the problem, if it is hardware or software related. I thought you or someone else here might have experience with a similar issue through your own work. Thanks in advance.

We set up all of the components just as you had done and all worked except the stepper motor just made noise and vibrated. Any suggestions on what might be causing this? Could pins on the stepper be in the wrong order, or a bad stepper?

For power do you use 2 positive and negative 12V wires connected to the board? Is there no risk of closing the circuit?

on the schematic at U3 DC-DC Converter the pins for GND & 12V are swapped.

On strat method the condition "if (tempLastStart == 0)" will never be true do to "tempLastStart = millis();" on previous line.

Hi,I'm a big fan from Germany, we recently build your machine with the pcb (manufactured at JLCPCB) and all components for a school project. I set everything up and turned the potentiometers correctly, but as I turned on the whole system the wemos rustle and the led didn't get that bright anymore. I can't flash it right now because it gets very hot while writing.

I don't know if it's my fault, but I rule out a short circuit.

can I repair the wemos?

Hi, My thermister temperature is saying it's only 220C but the hotend tip is melting the PET filament and its breaking the filament strand. What could cause temperature to be hotter than thermister reading?

All set up and running except for the heater is not getting hot. How is the heater/temp controlled in the web panel? I've tried changing a couple of the values that looked like they might be the temp control, but nothing has worked.

After flashing the wemos mini, I can see activity on the log console of the esphome-flasher, however when I connect to the "petalot" SSID and ask the browser to reach 192.168.4.1 I can see a short progress line that quickly stops leaving nothing in the browser screen.
Using Android 12 on a Moto G30 and Google Chrome as browser.
