Sorry for the slow response! My GitHub notifications weren't alerting correctly.
Yes, QuicKey definitely supports fuzzy matching in the sense of matching parts of words:
The title of that tab is [Feature Request/Possible?] Less opaque [Alt]+[A] and [Alt]+[S] behaviour? · Issue #21 · fwextensions/QuicKey · GitHub, so it matches the bit at the end.
However, it doesn't support matching despite typos or switched characters, which Fuse.js does. I've found that that kind of fuzzy matching generates way too many false positives to be useful. You can check out the QuickScore demo page to compare the QuickScore algorithm (which QuicKey uses) vs. other scoring libraries like Fuse. You can see that given a query of zom
, Fuse will return a bookmark titled Moment.js
, for some reason.
The other thing that QuicKey doesn't currently support is matching words separated by spaces against the titles and URLs in any order. Your example of quic key hub
wouldn't actually match QuicKey Github
currently, because it would be looking for a space between c
and k
.
There's an open issue, #11, for that feature, so I'll close this and we can continue the discussion there.

Thank you for the very detailed answer! Will subscribe to #11.
In any case, in the future I guess you could consider a setting for the user to choose the search engine akin to https://github.com/babyman/quick-tabs-chrome-extension
