Sorry about that, I meant GS 4.5.4. I'm using the latest release.
Someone on reddit said it's because the Mac export is not signed by a certificate? I'm not sure.

Hmmm, that's pretty odd. i don't really know anything about Macs so I don't really have any idea what would cause this. Which version of the pre-compiled editor are you using? Your issue says 4.2.1 but that's pretty old; the current is 4.5.4.

Ah, OK. Can you try a previous version just to see if there is a difference? I think this came up once before but I don't remember how it was resolved; I'd have to look back at the OSX-related issues. I haven't heard from any other Mac users about this either.
There is a separate notarization issue, which Steam takes care of for us but that is not this. But in both case, this and that one, it is pretty unlikely we'll ever sign the pre-compiles with Apple.

Hmm, no, it was something totally different. That is really bizarre that it wants to open that folder though. I have no idea what would cause that to happen.

Still need to look into signing the pre-compiles. If it requires paying Apple, this won't be a problem we can fix. I'm also not sure what pipeline we'd have to set up since everything is created by Github Actions. However, I will keep looking into it!
