tiny-m's Issues

The E3D V6 print head doesn't fit, it's too tight

Hello, thank you very much for your sharing, but I found that there is no model of E3D V6 in the file ".step", and the ".STL "can't be installed after it is printed directly, because it is too tight.I need your help. Could you please share the "step" file containing E3D V6? Thank you very much

Not an issue

I was searching to contact @gsl12 directly but didn't find any contact , is it possible?
And side question: under what license is this work distributed? ( I can't find any license file or mention)

190mm mod 310mm cross brace location?

Hi,

It's mentioned in 190mm build mod that one extra 310mm extrusion is required as a cross brace to stiffen the frame. Is there a picture to indicate where exactly that cross brace should be located?

Thanks.

tiny-m differences?

How different is the assembly/parts of the tiny-m mod compared to the normal voron 0, are all the parts/lengths the same, just thicker extrusions and different rails with different printed parts? and it uses mgn12 blocks and not mgn12c or mgn12h (and mgn9 and not mgn9h or mgn9c) correct?

Using Prusa Mini Heated Bed

I want to build Tiny-M. I checked the step file and thinking to change the bed with Prusa mini bed and carriage. I need to increase the distance between bed support extrusions a little. And need some little modifications to these parts. This is meehh okay why not idea or wtf terrible idea? Here are my simulations.. (I am not professional with f360.)

Integrated leadscrew stepper?

This is such a well done design, I have no need for another printer but I'm seriously considering building this. Is there a reason you have gone for a stepper and coupler onto the leadscrew, and not an integrated leadscrew stepper?

Thanks.

Some Questions

Hi,

before I ask my question, I would like to tell you, that I find your variant of the Voron V0 very cool.

I like the standard voron v0, but the few centimeters more make a huge difference. Many thanks for your effort.

My question:

Did you only add 30mm to the original for the aluminum extrusion? (Example: 200mm (voron v0) + 30mm)

Are you thinking to provide a bom (e.g. based on the voron v0 bom)?

Thank you and regards,

E3d V6 request

The E3D V6 is the most popular hotend at this moment. I'm wondering why not include it in the main project? I have many v6 Chinese clones, Can't find any dragon at aliexpress, looks like TL finishes its delivery, only spare parts. Mosquito is way too expensive for a hobbyist like me ;). If it is possible please add official support for this. Thanks.

Why 0.9 steppers?

Hi @gsl12! Thanks for sharing your work!
I am actually searching and ordering parts for building my Tiny-M and I have some nema17 48mm motors with 1.8deg I wanted to use. In your BOM you recommend 0.9deg motor. Is there any print quality improvements with 0.9 instead of 1.8, or why is it recommended? Usually, 1.8deg motor has more torque than 0.9deg motor of the same size.
