android_device_samsung_quincyatt's Issues

Add option for enabling software keys.

Since your 08/12 build has the ability to disable the hardware keys, an easy way to enable software keys (a toggle in settings, for instance) would be great.

Hardware acceleration in Jelly Bean

Are you aware of an issue that can cause extremely poor graphical performance (i.e. low animation frame rates, response times, UI lag, etc...) on only few of my any SGH-i717 users running the latest Jelly Bean build? I have tried everything I know to try to improve my performance and get a glimpse of "Project Butter" and I'm getting nothing but anti Project Butter for some strange reason. I've even tried a replacement device and still have the issue.

The reason I bring this to your attention is that most users that I have en countered running the current builds of Jelly Bean having nothing but good things to say about graphical smoothness so I'm wondering why only myself and a select other few are encountering very poor graphical performance. It should go without saying that I am by NO means complaining and am immensely appreciative of all of your hard work. I am well aware that this is in early stages of development and the only reason I bother you with this issue is because it's not affecting all users even though they're all on the same device.

I actually get much better performance in ICS than in the latest Jelly Bean so I'm certain it's not failing hardware. I'm wondering if maybe it's just an invalid configuration setting or possibly a driver issue in Jelly Bean for the GPU. Whatever I can do to help, please just let me know!
