This seems to be a certificate error. My client is set to basic auth.
In Fiddler:
Session #8: The remote server (mydomain.harvestapp.com) presented a certificate that did not validate, due to RemoteCertificateNameMismatch.
SUBJECT: CN=*.harvestapp.com, O="Iridesco, LLC", L=New York, S=New York, C=US
ISSUER: CN=GeoTrust SSL CA - G2, O=GeoTrust Inc., C=US
EXPIRES: 4/15/2016 5:59:59 PM
After ignoring the certificate error it will process the request correctly for the session of Fiddler.
I have not tried to use oauth.

The wrapper should be cert agnostic. Is it possible that your trusted certs are out of date? Can you hit the harvest api with curl or postman?

I get a successful hit with postman using basic auth. Pulls exactly as expected. I ran the 2013 update from the Microsoft update catalog for win8 and it still fails.
