Impoved UI?

Hi. I want to edit the subtitle of an Unreal Game.
I can edit lines in this app and it is working but i have to click and wait a lot of time to load 20000 lines.
Maybe can you add a full file window like notepad++ or Fmodel UI?
And make a checkbox to show only the X. Item in an entry?

Cannot add data of ArrayProperty and StructProperty property type

Modding State of Decay 2.

If i try to add data that is of ArrayProperty or StructProperty it shows the error (attached image).

Other types add without errors - for example, ObjectProperty, BoolProperty etc.

To reproduce error:

  • Open: StateOfDecay2\Content\GameSystems\Facility\FacilityTypes\Armory\CategoryActions_Explosives\Armory_SubAction_CraftExplosive_Grenade

  • Navigate: Code Blocks - Block 2 - UnlockRequirements

  • Try to "add data" with property type set as "ArrayProperty".

Using header references instead of typing/pasting "ArrayProperty" doesn't work (says "type doesn't exist"), importing blocks from other files doesn't work (saving gives "address" error).
Editor is set on 4.13 version.

I modified one UMap file and my changes successfully appeared in a game, but a different UMap file says "Warning: This file will not save correctly".

The game was created with Unreal Engine 4.20.1. It's an open-world game, with different spots of the map placed in files called "Cell". I opened the UMap file called "Cell_4_8.umap" with Asset Editor 2.3.13, and changed the position of a poorly-placed tree. My change was successful. I would like to move other objects to better positions, but they are in a file called "Cell_3_8.umap". That file shows this warning in Asset Editor 2.3.13: "Warning: This file will not save correctly".

Are you willing to modify your Asset Editor to support the modification of that file? I added "Cell_4_8" in the repository too, so you could compare that one to discern why your tool already supports it but doesn't support "Cell_3_8". If you don't have time to edit it, are you aware of other tools or methods that could edit this file?

I'll appreciate your answers.

Unable to edit

I came across this problem just today where I wasn't able to edit any of the assets. Whenever I open a file in asset editor, another window would pop up with the files information but I was unable to edit it. Normally it would show in the same window in header list

Any update for this tool?

This tools also works well for many other Unreal Engine games, but now there's a big problem:

Many new game now using UE version like 4.26/4.27/5.00. the tools dont work for those version.

So.. any update for it?

This Program Can't Be Used Offline

As the title says. When I'm trying to work from my offline machine, this program won't open. Only works when connected to a network. It would be best for the source code to be uploaded.

Source and license please

It is the normal, accepted, behavior on GitHub. There are plenty of hosting sites to use if you refuse to release the source code, which you really should just do. It is obvious that you are not responding to issues.

trojan?

windows defender thinks this has a trojan in it and has quarantined the file. are the sources available so i can build it myself?

Is it possible to have another branch with the source code, so I can modifiy the app for my personal use and maybe upload the altered version if I deem it useful for other people as well?

Not support UTF-16

The saved Chinese characters were converted to "?",maybe the current version isn't support utf-16 ?

Mass exporting/importing?

Dear kaiheilos!

Is there a way to export/import every text from an .uexp/.uasset, so I wouldn't have to manually check hundreds of entries?
For example:
In Moons of Madness, there is a line of text for each and every language for the game under "DialogueLine" and "LocalizedDialogue".

Failed to open same uasset.

I successfully opened uasset file(4.27.2) and took a look of datatable in it, and I'm able to edit it, but a few hours later, when I opened the same file, datatable shows nothing.

I was wondering why.
