Possibility of adding ModAPI support to expose more drill properties for boosters about spaceengineers HOT 5 OPEN

Meh, doesn't make a lot of sense to add. The only use I could think of for that would be if someone created a laser/plasma torch drill, but even then the change in the AoE would probably look strange as it would leave an increased gap between the model and the material.

Voxel deformation is expensive - I know a lot of servers use the "DK Earthbreak Drill" mod because it has a much larger drilling cone, under the theory that drilling for half the time is well worth calculating twice the deformation area. That seems pretty reasonable to me.

But its small ship version always has issues with its cone, I wonder if the creator hit a roadblock without access to these.

I guess my thought was just that it would be interesting to have more options in the booster mods to overpower the original drills ( based on the original model at least). I do agree that the issue of the drill making a much bigger hole would look a bit weird but it would still be cool.

Since it isn't that big a change I'd say just go ahead with it. The devs can still decide if they want to commit the pr.
