Adobe XD to Xamarin.Forms exporter

Adobe XD Plugin to export assets to Xamarin.Forms XAML Styles and Resources.

Demo

Select Plugins -> Xamarin.Forms Exporter
A preview will open displaying the XAML resources. You can either just select and copy some of the resources from the preview, or go ahead and hit Copy to copy all the resources to your clipboard
Paste into your resource dictionary in a XAML file

Install

From the XD market

Hopefully soon the plugin will be available from the XD market. (Coming soon hopefully)

From GitHub releases

Head over to the Latest Releases page and then download the newest .xdx file. Once downloaded, double click to install!

Character Style assets should use resource colors

If a character style uses a color that is in the color assets it should do a {StaticResource} reference to the Color

Asset Names with spaces should have spaces removed during export

When clicking export, no code shows.

No code is generated when clicking export. Am I missing something?

Error when using plugin: TypeError: Cannot read property 'value' of undefined

I installed Adobe XD version 35.3.12.2 (Starter) and can't get this plugin to work. When I click on Xamarin Form Exporter from Plugins menu nothing happens. In Developer console I see:

TypeError: Cannot read property 'value' of undefined at getColors (<settings>\plugins\db0fd4aa\main.js:83:60)

I discovered that 'assets.colors.get()' on line 75 does not always contain object with attribute 'color' but sometimes 'gradientTape' instead, which is causing the problem. I can filter out this value, but I'm unsure what the correct would be. What should I do with this value? Could somebedy look into it? I'd be grateful.

Not working

I'm unable to use the plugin. I'm using Adobe XD 39.0.12.12 on Mac OS.

When I click the plug-in it doesn't do anything. I tried the version 1.0, 1.1 and 1.3 of the plug-in but no one worked.

No code preview ON WINDOWS 10

I made a simple project and it's not showing any code preview though i am using WINDOWS

Error message when installing

I downloaded the .xdx but am getting an "Unable to Install Plugin" error. Wondering if this is an issue with updated XD?

Font Names should be declared in a resource and referenced from the style

As an example:

    <Style x:Key="TempLabel" TargetType="Label">
        <Setter Property="FontFamily" Value="**{StaticResource TextBold}" />**
        <Setter Property="FontSize" Value="38" />
        <Setter Property="TextColor" Value="#ffffff" />
    </Style>

Does not work on Mac

The plugin works fine on Windows,
Does not work on Mac. On Mac, no code generated after clicking export
This is the same as for issue #5

Add preview window so user can see styles to export

"No Assets" message when trying to export using Xamarian.Forms exporter plug-in

Hello,

I have installed the 1.3 release by opening the xdx file.

I have made a mockup of what I want my program to look like ( XD file attached as zip) and when I try to export it I get the following message:

No Assets

The plugin could not find any Assets in your project.
Check that you have defined Color and/or Character
Style assets in your project.

On closer inspection, the problem might be missing fonts.

Installation issue

Hello,
I am not able to install the plugin and I don't know why.
As suggested in the readme file, I double-clicked on the file: adobe xd started but nothing happened... what I am doing wrong?
