Makes it easier to change the inventory and also makes such changes visible without having to open the event flow

After playing the mod for a bit, there's a few issues I've found that if addressed, would make the mod much more friendly and fun overall.
The first would be the mod beginning with several, several cutscenes. Removing the rune receiving cutscenes, and putting Ta'log Naeg in the same category as the Tests of Strength, would allow for a fluid, and enjoyable start to the playthrough(assuming you skip ToS').

The next thing would be the ability to disable perma-death, as, despite the comparison being made to Trial of the Sword, the trial offers substantial breakpoints in the form of its seperation into 3 zones, and even offering break spots with fairies every 5 or so rooms. Also, permadeath means that in the occasional situation where you need to reset a shrine, you're forced to redo the entire shrine rush up to that point.

Fixing these two things would help immensely.

Currently, the player is required to complete at least one shrine first, which is silly.

The Lv2 bombs do a lot of damage, so having hearty food is useful to recover from bomb boost skips.
