Didn't tried yet with jekyll 2.3.0, I'll do it asap.
What version of jekyll-timeago are you using?
Btw, I recommend to use the first method to install plugins (native way of jekyll, at least for now):
- Install the gem (or update it: gem update jekyll-timeago)
- Load and customize via
_config.yml

hey @famousevo,
I just tested newer versions of jekyll (2.3.0) and jekyll-timeago (0.8.0) and it worked, both, filter and tag.
I tried to install it via plugin system and bundler and I have no problems.
Could you please provide more details about your installation and implementation? Or the repository in which you attempt to install it? Thanks.

It works for me with newer versions of jekyll and jekyll-timeago.
