privtracker's Issues

IPv6 support in privtracker v1.0.2

After updating to v1.0.2 I'm not able to connect to the locally installed privtracker via IPv6. The previous version of privtracker works fine.

OS: Windows 10 x64 Home, 22H2;
privtracker v1.0.2 is allowed to receive incoming connections in Windows Firewall.

Domain is hard-coded

Such a simple application seems to just cry out for self-hosting, e.g. by users who plan to use it a lot and don't want to strain the public instance, or users who have privacy/control concerns about the public server.

I'm a noob Go developer, but if I were to modify this such that it accepted simple configuration of the domain name at runtime (via an environment variable or a config file in the same directory as the binary), would you accept a pull request for that feature? It seems like an easy way for me to get my feet wet in Go without writing something from scratch, and (hopefully) provide a useful contribution to an existing project along the way. ๐Ÿ™‚

Full ipv6 support

Support for ipv6 is not sufficiently complete, and the project's tracker address cannot use ipv6 connections to connect to ipv6 users. I don't know much about technology, but I want to solve practical problems, such as sharing files via ipv6.
