Hey,

I've set up my server and can ftp and curl to it in terminal and Cyberduck, creating and removing files without any problems.
Using the same user and settings in FileShuttle the upload fails and returns this in Console.app

Any way to tell what's going wrong here?

From the Description of the 2.1 download, it would seem as though Mountain Lion support has been added, although I still cannot upload files on my machine.

Is there something I need to reset in order to make this work?

There are some issues with building for 32-bit in MVPreferencesController.m where some synthesized properties must be either named the same as a compatible ivar or must explicitly name an ivar. This is an issue for toolbar, generalView, advancedView, selectedIdentifier, and selectedView on lines 53-55, 58, and 59.

Michael what are your thoughts on keeping the application up to date?

seeing as the app store is no longer being used, do you have any objections to using sparkle to handle in-app updates?

On my server I must set special permissions and ownerships for the file that the webserver is allowed to serve the file. Maybe someone could add a field to declare the default chmod value, the owner user and owner group.

Using a v6 address as destination server in fileshuttle will be accapted, but when trying to upload, there's instantly "Please check your connection". A look with tcpdump shows, that there isn't any connection try.

In older Versions of Fileshuttle the filename could be shortened. The has been renamed to a 8 characaters hash. Right now in recent Fileshuttle versions this hash will only be appended which creates very long filename.

Suggestion
Make it optional: "Rename to Hash, Append Hash, Keep Original"

It would be great if Fileshuttle supported Rackspace Cloud Files & Amazon S3 support! :)

If you try to upload a image from a browser it will not work as expected.

1. copy image via contextual menu to clipboard, then use clipboard upload short cut
2. drag and drop an image fome the browser on the fileshuttle icon/menu icon

Results:

Safari: Fileshuttle will create an text file with the image URL
Chrome and FireFox: nothing will happen

although my experience is limited, i'd be happy to offer my time as i do have some available to me and i think it might benefit all that are interested in the app?

Uploading a .app file (which creates a zip file) results in a chmod/octal of 600. This cannot be downloaded.
Uploading a normal .zip file results in an accessible 604 octal file.

It seems that permissions should always be 644.
