Hey @miyconst!
It would be great to have latest release C612RD24 from BIOS-iEngineer in Mi899 with TU, FFS, Undervolt.
I'm happy to help and do the work of modding the BIOSes following Mi899 release pattern:
However, although I'm really advanced with computers, hadware, coding, systems administration, I never have modded a BIOS before. If you could point out a guide and provide a list of your optimal settings, I can maybe make the modifications and test them on my board, and then make a Pull request here.
Please let me know if I can help!
The information shall be added here:
The result should be committed to a separate branch with a pull request.
Hi, good bios for ZX-DU99D4? I dont need really the turbo boost. I wondering if any bios update/driver can solve the sleep mode problem. I can enable it on the bios but it has problems to awake up again.
All right, my friend. I would like to know which bios is compatible with the motherboard kllisre x99 v201. Because in the MI899 program there are no bios when I click on her image. Thank you for the excellent work.
Hi,
This is not an issue related to your BIOS mod but maybe you can help me.
I have installed 4 8GB ECC DIMMs on my X99-F8 and had no problems.
After that i bought 4 more DIMMs (same shop) and I replaced the old ones in order to test its funcionality and everything ok.
The problem is when I try to install all 8 DIMMs.
First I had 4 DIMMs (in the 4 slots together) and I put the other 4 in the free slots.
When I try tu power-on my PC I have code 67 when starting the BIOS.
I flashed the BIOS with your optimized one but same issue.
Can you help me with it? I think maybe any slot is broken or something but i hope it's a jumper config related or any param in the BIOS ....
Hi, I just bought a kllisre x99 b5 and I want to do the turbo hack. I noticed that even Mi899 still does not have support for it, but in forums in vk I saw that there are people who have made bios for this. My fear is that I do not know to what extent this is reliable and I am waiting for it to be added to the program. Thank you very much and happy holidays.
Pd: sorry for the English this is translated by google :)
Hello friend!
I recently purchased a Machinist X99 RS9 motherboard with the C226 chipset.
Is it possible to perform Unlock Turbo Boost on this chipset?
Could you please add support for this chipset in your application?
Thanks in advance.
Are the Huananzhi x99-TF and Huananzhi x99-F8 BIOSes interchangeable? When I select the Huananzhi x99-TF in the Mi899 tool, the TF and F8 BIOS are listed together. Is this right? Can I use, for example, the BIOS "Stock Huananzhi X99-F8 BIOS, TU FFS" without problems on the Huananzhi x99-TF? Or another with TURBO UNLOCK?
Hey, I just wanted to ask if you plan to add support/already have support for the Machinist X99 MR9S and MR9D (and the Plus variants)? Or if one of the Huananzhi or other bioses work with them? They must be fairly new as I’ve scoured your channel and watched the longer video showcasing lots of the Chinese boards, and haven’t seen much about them. I know you already have support for the MR9A, and I’ve looked through your files/code but haven’t seen these specifically mentioned. Maybe these are basically the same as the MR9A? I know the MR9D supposedly uses an actual X99 chip though rather than the B85.
Anyways, I’ve just been looking at possibly getting one of these and wanted to make sure I’ll be able to use a custom BIOS on them.
As a side question, would you even recommend these at all? I saw your review on the MR9A and it seemed to have pretty impressive quality that sort of surprised you. Thanks for all your hard work!
Hi, which Bios will be good for Machinist X99-RS9 + E5 2673 V3 to make turbo unlock?
EDIT.
This is newest revision of this mobo (with LED screen debuger)
Hello, @miyconst, are you planning to add Jingsha x99 Dual to you awesome tool? I tried to use your instructions from YouTube and the text version from you web site, but I didn't reach the positive result. I did everything step by step and each step of instruction was successful, but after restart I have no Turbo Boost. Could you help me with this?
I have an x99 with a 2678v3 and it does not restart, the screen remains black after hitting restart on w10.
Hello. I just got the Machinist x99-rs9 motherboard with the chipset c226. Has anyone been able to unlock turbo boost? Which bios have you used? I read that it is compatible with b85 bios but I don't want to take the risk if nobody with this chipset has tried before.
Thanks for your help.
I am not sure why, but it seems like my Machinist X99-G7 is NOT compatible with Huananzhi X99-8M-F BIOS.
So it seems like some Machinist X99-G7 require 8M-T BIOS? I wonder if it is a new board revision...sadly it looks like there is no 8M-T TU BIOS, so I will have to run stock CPU settings for now.
Just wanted to share my results. Maybe this will be helpful for other Machinist X99-G7 owners.
Maybe you can add this information to Mi899 or add a note to your X99-G7 video?
System specs:
CPU: E5-2673v3
RAM: 128GB Samsung DDR3 ECC (4 x 32GB PC3-14900L)
Hi,
First of all, TOP WORK, you are doing a great things for the community!
i just got a new Jingsha X99 D8i mainboard and wanted to unlock the turbo but im am not sure if it is compatible with one of the already implemented bios. Chipset is a x99 C612
Can it be implemented? should i provide any further infos? I included the original bios, maybe it helps
Cheers

new motherboard Kllisre x99 d4, link attached, hope you can support this motherboard soon.

Thank you
The Jginyue X99 D8 motherboard has a cmos clear jumper but it doesn't have a header soldered in place. It seems to work though.
The header that is right next to the clear cmos jumper is the "Auto On" jumper. This jumper bypasses the front case switch relay and allows PSU switch to determine ON or OFF state. So if the PSU power switch is ON then it will power up and boot after a power failure. In the default position (shown) it is set to engage the relay from the front case power switch.
Hello @miyconst .
I updated the bios of my x99 f8.
I'm having trouble plugging in several video cards, only allowing 3 gpu. when i add gpu 4 the code d4 appears. and does not let the system start.
how do i connect 4 gpus on f8?
A few days ago I flashed the BIOS "Stock Huananzhi X99-F8, Myconst optimized" on my motherboard and for a couple of days it worked fine, yesterday it started to green screen me for milliseconds and it kept working.
Now while I was using it it froze, and when restarting it it no longer worked, the error code it shows is 67 or b7, I already tried to clean the CMOS, disconnect all the peripherals, remove all the RAM and try only one, I tried different RAM, and nothing.
Any suggestions on the problem or on how I could solve it?
Thank you in advance for your contributions @
Hello, and first of all thank you for the great tool and great selection of BIOS images. I have the new revision of Huananzhi X99-T8, with a Xeon E5-2696v3.
I tried flashing huananzhi-x99-f8.tu.v3p50.ffs.mi8.rom.zip and then huananzhi-x99-f8.s3tt.5050.mi8.rom.zip. Both BIOS images have a common problem: on every start-up (after a shutdown or a restart), the motherboard beeps 4x (all short beeps), and goes into the BIOS settings instead of booting into the OS. I can boot into the OS from the Boot Override menu option.
With stock BIOS, CPU-Z benchmark gives 68xx points (multi thread). I don't remember the performance of the TU version, but the S3TT version gives 79xx points.
Then I used UPT to patch and flash the S3TT BIOS image. It states that a boot-to-recovery problem is detected and fixed. Sure enough, after flashing, I can boot directly into the OS, and the motherboard does not beep 4x anymore.
Is the BIOS error an expected behaviour, especially with the new revision boards? In that case, won't it be helpful if we patch all the BIOS images using UPT, for the new revision of X99-T8? I can help do this, but this is actually very trivial to do (just use UPT to patch each BIOS image) once we have figured out what the problem is...

Hi dude!
I just got my machinist k9 v2 board and xeon e5-2650 v3, I'm super excited, have you done any version of turboboost unlocking and memory timings for this version? in your software you only have version 1.0. can you help me? I was thinking 50/50. what do you think?
best regards from your brazilian admirer. @miyconst
Hello.
I buy a kllisre zx-du99d4 v1.12 with two xeon e5-2696 v3.
I have tested your procedure to flash the bios with the ffs drivers (v3x2_payne_0_0_.efi) and it's don't work (system don't boot) or i have missed something?
But it is possible to use the EFI drivers on ubuntu/linux? I have see the procedure for Windows, but i use this machine for Gaming Ubuntu server and i don't want to use windows.
If necessary , i have the original bios
Thank's by advance
Hi,
I'm writing this since I noted that, on diverse cases, using PEI BIOS with -70/50 on Xeon 2678v3 on Huananzhi X99 F8, T8 or TF (me and some of my friends went full X99, and everybody got one of those three motherboards, accordingly with what RAM was spare at home / someone likes white boards) can introduce some instability on the system, expecially if you leave your PC doing high load tasks all nigth (specifically, i'm referring to folding@home project). I also noted that this problems solves itself by flashing your previous BIOS, FFS -50/50, so I'll desume that instability is probably due to excessive undervolting.
Could you please add a -50/50 PEI BIOS for Huananzhi F8/T8/TF on this tool? That would be great, and I'm pretty sure that it would fix those issues.
Thanks in advance, and thanks for your great work
I have a MACHINIST X99-MR9D PLUS with Xeon CPU E5-2670 v3 @ 2.30GHz, 2295 Mhz, and after opening the tool and performing a search to locate my mothercard, I get an "Unhandled exception", see below.

Description : X99-F8 Motherboard
BIOS Version : 1.0
Date : 2021-5-11
My system was working normally before I try to flash the tinkered Bios.
Processor: E5 2620V3
Memory: Atermiter 2x8GB DDR4 3200Mhz ECC ( Slot A1 and B1)
First I've backup my original Bios using Mi899 procedure.
Then I tried to flash the "Stock Huananzhi X99-F8, TU PEI -50/50mv", process completed successfully. After reboot I've got stuck at posting code B7. I've tried to change slots, use only one memory card etc. As the code represent "B7 Reconfigure NVRAM settings." I've decided to try another memory card. I've used a GEIL 8GB PC4-28800 CL18-22-22-42 1.35V at slot A1. And after several different beeps (first 3 beeps and then a long beep) at different posting codes the system entered in the BIOS setup. I've saved and exited and computer booted up in Windows.
Then I've flashed back my original BIOS, shut down. Changed back to the atermiter memory as previous configurations and it all worked right.
The second time I've flashed either "Stock Huananzhi X99-F8, TU FSS" or "Stock Huananzhi X99-F8, TU FSS -50/50mv" I don't remember correctly. And the same results happened. Stuck at B7. So I did the same procedure changing memory card. And when entered in the Bios I've ended up rewriting boot, which resulted in a dead motherboard at posting code FF.
Now I'm in the process of flashing my original Bios with the CH341A programmer. BIOS Chip is MX25L12833F.
I don't know exactly but it seems that newer motherboard might have a complete different BIOS.
hz-x99-f8-20211014-153945.zip
update: I've successfully flashed original Bios using CH341A and everything is working again. I've uploaded my original Bios dump. It might be be useful to you or someone else.
I think it looks like the reason is mixing linux like path separator with windows like, maybe you could prefix them with file://and place the path only "/" separated ? BTW I haven't read the source code I'm just guessing
Thanx
Hello,
Can you please add a rom for Kllisre x99-d4 with the turbo boost unlock?
BTW, I've tried to flash x99-f8 bios but something is wrong with UEFI (it does not see boot devices), I could only boot Windows after I removed and installed a CMOS battery back.
Thanks in advance.
Thank you,
Hello,
Just updated my RS9's bios using mi899 and when I rebooted I am constantly being greeted by bsod. How can i revert to default bios. Please help. Thanks.
Hello
My motherboard shows error code 73 while booting, after restarting the computer everything returns to normal and the code AA is displayed. I tested various bios, including factory ones from the huananzhi website, and still the same problem. Any idea how to solve this problem?
Hi, I got a Machinist RS9, after updating the original BIOS to -50/-50 mV version, the system won't boot from nvme, so I have to go to BIOS and restore factory defaults or clear CMOS and then the system boots normally from nvme, but it only happens the first time, after rebooting again, the system doesn't find a boot medium.
Is there any suggest?
Hi @miyconst,
I just installed an Atermiter X99H v1.31 running BIOS version X99HA00E, with a Xeon E5-1650v3.
It looks like your utility doesn't cover this configuration.
Do you think there is chance you could support it, and don't know if my Xeon can run with lower voltage.
BTW, the Atermiter store on Aliexpress provided me the link to the latest BIOS update:

Hi. Thank You for your informative Youtube Channel.
I bought a generic X99 board with label above on box.
The board looks like Panshi X99-D4. Windows shows C610 chipset.
The firmware I saved with your program has ID: KLX99109.
Two issues I'm having are Linux cannot enable ECC.
(I purchased 1Rx4 8GB ECC ram kit for it) prime95 passes fine.
Do Not see any options in BIOS to enable ECC.
And USB 3.0 performance is bad. less than 70MB/sec.
Is there a BIOS you would recommend that might fix these issues?
Thank You. KH
Hi...I recently purchased a Kllisre X99 V205 motherboard (i think it has a C222 chipset instead of B85 on V201).
I wish to perform turbo unlock but I can't seem find a modified bios for it on Mi899. Any idea which bios is suitable or compatible for turbo unlock on this motherboard?
Many thanks in advance....
I have a new Huananzhi X99-F8 which was working just fine, but I wanted to unlock more BIOS options and of course enable Turbo Boost.
After flashing TU FFS (tried -70/50mv, and 0/0), and tried using both flash tools, my PC is always booting automatically in BIOS.
Also tried resetting CMOS battery, as well as loading default config in BIOS, but it did not help.
Booting into Windows is still possible after manually selecting "Boot Override" inside BIOS. It just doesn't want to boot automatically.
I already checked SATA settings, and actually disabled all SATA controllers because I am using NVMe anyway.
Also I disabled CSM support because I don't use Legacy boot anyway.
Not forget to mention, I'm getting four beeps after starting PC, and shortly an error "F9" on the digital display on motherboard itself, but right after it goes into BIOS and motherboard shows "AA" as it booted correctly.
This error was also not present before BIOS update.
Hello Genius of Chinese boards
I have some doubts to see if you can solve them
I have a Kllisre X99 V201 with an NVME M2 disk, I think that to flash the Bios I should use the huananzhi-x99-8m-f.tp.s3tt.5050 ?
Can I have any windows boot problem having a NVME M2 drive after flashing?
In case windows does not start, is there any solution, installing the factory bios or some other solution?
I've never done a Bios flash and I'm afraid of bricking the board and not knowing what to do.
Thanks for everything, keep up the great work and contribution you give to the community!!!
PS: sorry for my english, I'm using a translator
I've flashed the JingSha X99M-H2 motherboard with "X99M-G2 Miyconst optimal" and also tried the "TU FFS -50/50mv", But on both bioses my 970 evo nvme 1TB boot drive wasn't detected as UEFI drive so there was no windows boot manager to boot from.
Rarely it detected the drive correctly and booted via windows boot manager mode (After resetting bios to defaults many times and rebooting the system about 20 times, and then on the next boot it didn't recognise the drive correctly again).
I tried enabling/disabling CSM and then when CSM enabled - tried UEFI only - But no go.
Finally booted via winPE (Strelec) and flashed it to original dumped bios and now UEFI works consistently.
The tried bioses seems to have some UEFI implementation bug.
Hi, is it possible to do undervolting for my machinist rs9 without turboboost unlock to use v4cpu?
Hi there,
First off thanks for your hard work in creating the fixes and constant support for these chinese motherboards.
I have recently purchased a Machinist - X99 - RS9, now I have watched your video where you reviewed and mentioned you flashed the bios to fix USB 3 Issues, The cpu I have is the Xeon E5-2530 v3 and I have downloaded your software to flash the motherboard, upon discovering there is about 11 Bios's to choose. What one would you recommend personally? I'm just looking for a stable build.
Sorry I didnt know where else to contact you.
Regards from Australia.
It's an B85 Chipset, i flashed x99 8MF -50/-50 Bios and everything was right but then it suddenly freeze, even during idle, sometimes 20 seconds after booting (even during the Windows startup screen) and sometimes 15 min while in the desktop for no reason, the specs of the system are an Nvidia 6600GT (temporary) and 4*4GB DDR4 ECC and a Crucial MX500.
In the Bios i can navigate without any issue.
Please could you remove the intel inside logo from Machinist x99 rs9 roms. The logo aesthetically doesn't look pleasing. its too big
Hi all,
It is my first post here. First of all, thank you for your time creating solutions an tools to improve our motherboards.
I have recently get a Machinist X99 RS9 with:
- Xeon E5 2640 V3
- B85 chipset
My problem is that I get random screen freezes (sometimes just start, sometimes after minutes or hours...) where keyboard and mouse do not respond but fans still running, and I've to hold down the power button to restart the system. It has also happened to me during the Windows installation process! I have a slight suspicion that it usually occurs in I/O operations to SSD.
Now I'm thinking of flash the BIOS with your mi899 application, and I would like to ask you what BIOS would you recommend to get a more stable system.
I used Mi899 to flash https://github.com/Koshak1013/HuananzhiX99_BIOS_mods/tree/master/Huananzhi%20X99-F8/2020-05-25%20(%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%BC%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%B4%D1%83%D0%B5%D1%82%D1%81%D1%8F) First I chose FPT option, had some errors (sorry, no screenshot, but it flashed several blocks 4 I think, then failed). So I immediately reflashed BIOS with Afuwin option, and it looked all nice, no errors. After reboot, motherboard is stuck at error code bf (or 6f, looks similar), screen is dark, no beeps, after appr 1 min m/b switches off. According to post code table, if this is "bf" it might be "RAM too fast".
My question is - does it look like a problem that should go away with CMOS reset or I need to order USB CH341A?
I moved JCMOS jumper, removed battery and disconnected m/b from power for about an hour, but it did not help.
I'm surprised that this is the first issue posted. Thanks for all your great work. It seems like this must be more of a passion for you than business.
Anyway, I was able to flash the BIOS with RAM timing unlock on this combination, but even the BIOS with Turbo Boost Unlock and no undervoltage was unstable enough that I could not get into Windows without unplugging all accessories and then using TeamViewer. I never experienced this with the stock BIOS or with only RAM timing unlock.
I know that JINGSHA D8 is supported, so I just want to make sure that it does work with the new JINGSHA X99 D8I.
Once again, thanks for your support and YouTube channel.
I tried your program latest version on huananzhi x99-f8 gaming (DDR4 support, not the T8 version), with xeon 2678v3. Getting some windows freezes using the no undervolt version, so i'm not even trying the undervolted versions.
Btw, huananzhi has released a bios on the webpage from 2020-8-17. maybe the bios you were using was outdated? I can see a lot more options on the bios, from the new version rather than the outdated version that the motherboard had. The link from the the motherboard download center:
http://www.huananzhi.com/html/1/184/185/427.html
i have used pfptw64.exe to flash the new bios. Is okay, but doesn't get the 3.1ghz all cores turbo unlock cause is an original bios. There is anyw to get the new bios on your program?
I atach my currently working updated bios from the link above downloaded. Thanks in advance for all.
