Custom commands

Custom Command is a feature to enable 3rd party apps to register their voice commands. Voice commands will be predefined actions in the short term. We may use Action of schema.org as base and extend it as action list. 3rd party apps should use JSON-LD to state which actions they support. Once the actions detected, Vaani calls the apps to handle that.

Learn how to implement custom commands.

vaani's Issues

White screen (ffxos latest nightly)

Hello :-),

I did clone the repository and installed Vaani with WebIDE (packaged app > src/, hop). When starting the application, I have a white screen.

Any idea why?

Thanks!

CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md file missing

As of January 1 2019, Mozilla requires that all GitHub projects include this CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md file in the project root. The file has two parts:

  1. Required Text - All text under the headings Community Participation Guidelines and How to Report, are required, and should not be altered.
  2. Optional Text - The Project Specific Etiquette heading provides a space to speak more specifically about ways people can work effectively and inclusively together. Some examples of those can be found on the Firefox Debugger project, and Common Voice. (The optional part is commented out in the raw template file, and will not be visible until you modify and uncomment that part.)

If you have any questions about this file, or Code of Conduct policies and procedures, please see Mozilla-GitHub-Standards or email [email protected].

Rename `locales` directory

The gaia build system has special handling for directories named locales. For the time being we'll simply rename the directory to localization.

Dynamic grammar includes words that are only punctuation

Flashed current gecko and gaia onto a flame device and installed Vaani. Part of the grammar produced included the "word" "-". In other words, it included a "-" separated from other words by spaces.

This caused the g2p algorithm to crash Bug 1202989, which I am fixing now.

But the question really is: What should be done if an app, for example, is called "Ready - Set - Go"?
