Looks like 61afd65 and 6641c84 fixed this. When the Activity/UIView context gets destroyed (e.g. react native reload from Metro) the Nearby API stops publishing and subscribing, and destroys the underlying opened bluetooth connections.

I could still implement onHostPause and onHostResume to disconnect and reconnect any Nearby operations on android, but I think the Nearby API already does this automatically (it has the Activity Context, so from there it should listen to lifecycle events, maybe even onHostDestroy so there's no need to unsubscribe/unpublish at all..?)

As long as the user unsubscribes/unpublishes correctly everything should work fine.
