dcurves's Issues

Add competing risks functionality

  • Use cmprsk library in python for competing risks
  • On backend just uses R package for competing risks
  • Then you also have rsf libraries neural nets for this (worth looking into?)

Using better default colors in `plot_graphs`

When using the plot_graphs function the default colors of the lines are random. This often leads to colors that are not easily distinguishable. I can of course set the colors manually, but a consistent default would be preferable.

Latest version of dcurves on PyPi is not up-to-date with the package

I tried to use the smooth_frac parameter of plot_graphs, but this did not work for the PyPi version of the package. When installing directly from this github it worked:

pip install git+https://github.com/MSKCC-Epi-Bio/dcurves.git

Are there plans to update the PyPi version? Or is it up-to-date and have I done something wrong on my end?

GitHub Actions Fix

  • in Actions, should have pylint before pytest
  • run pylint only on dcurves, not on tests
