Similar to this, I am also interested in building wheels for plain Pypi projects that miss them, e.g. projects that are not in a VCS.

For Mercurial, I think it would be as straightforward as replacing the clean_code call in .travis.yml with an hg clone command that fetched the correct version into the `$REPO_DIR`` directory.
