I do in fact use a development branch for testing, but you're right, I could make this more obvious. Master is meant to be stable. I myself always use git submodules when I'm using multibuild, with the hope thatI can reassure myself that the build is working for me at that hash, but it's not a panacea, as the system changes under multibuild quite a bit, causing previous builds to crash even with the same code.

I'll update the README with the master / devel split.
