In the calculation of cortical orientation using LN2_LAYERS, does it consider anisotropy of the voxel size? I have a scan with the same voxel size in plane and different slice thickness. I'm wondering if the program takes this into account.

I generated a test data from an oblique scan. I manually inserted one layer of cortex (a few slices of value 3 surrounded by 2 and 1s). The FOV is rotated by 17.6 degree. The resolution is 0.3x0.3x0.4mm. I tested this with your python script. The result is 23 degree, roughly 1.3 times (4/3). I attached the test data here in case needed.
