ps4-mono's Issues

Can you run PlayStation Mobile games on the PS4's PSM Runtime? + some other info

Back when i was writing my CXML Decompiler, and asked some friends for some PS4 RCO; i saw "Sce.PlayStation.HighLevelUI2.rco", app.exe, and even folder names like /Application, i recognized it immediately as PlayStation Mobile-

the UI Library / framework included in PSM was called Sce.PlayStation.HighLevelUI

I was honesty very surprised to see it here, as sony basically completely killed PSM-
including removing ability to redownload or reactivate your previously purchased titles!

but yes even looking at your own write up here, it, this definitely is (or is at least based upon)
the original PlayStation Mobile from PSVita, and Xperia Play! -
and sony told me they no longer distributed PSM and so didnt have to comply with GPL

"AppMain" is the default name for main functions in PSM Applications, that whole Update(); Render() loop, is exactly how it worked. the libs have the exact same name, it has the exact same /Application, /System etc folders, main executable is called "app.exe", heck its even in a folder called "psm"

HighLevelUI is actually documented, (or well it WAS, they might have added more to it since then) in the PSM SDK documentation
which can be downloaded directly from sony's servers to this day, at; http://zeus.dl.playstation.net/psm_resource/general/all/PSM_SDK_2.00.00.exe
they never actually removed it from their servers, haha

anyway, i would like to see if old PlayStation Mobile games or apps could run on the PS4 with this weird PSM Runtime included,
i can already see the encryption is different

in any case, it makes me somewhat happy that this obscure piece of PlayStation's history that lives on in the PS4 & PS5
