`main` returns `int` in C and Unix. about docs HOT 2 CLOSED

void main is terrible, I agree. However the basic hello, world example which omits the type int in front of main in many books is also wrong approach because it will confuse reader more. I've added the int main instead.

Please keep in mind that the C chapter is highly experimental for now and is not something written in stone yet. Cheers.

Indeed. I meant to add a link to a StackOverflow question, but the standard will do for you. You can't omit the int keyword, either. Not in C11 and not in C99; not for the last twenty years. You should consider refreshing your understanding of C, if it's been that long for you, before you try to teach...
