library's Introduction

qiime2 (the QIIME 2 framework)

Source code repository for the QIIME 2 framework.

QIIME 2™ is a powerful, extensible, and decentralized microbiome bioinformatics platform that is free, open source, and community developed. With a focus on data and analysis transparency, QIIME 2 enables researchers to start an analysis with raw DNA sequence data and finish with publication-quality figures and statistical results.

library's Issues

Logo truncated in some environments

Bug Description
The right side of the Qiime 2 Library logo is cut off in Firefox (not in Chrome). This behavior holds at desktop and mobile screen sizes.

See screencap below.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Open firefox, navigate to the library
  2. Look at the logo (top left)

Expected behavior
Logo should be displayed in toto in all major browsers.

Computation Environment

  • OS: LinuxMint 18.3 Cinnamon
  • Firefox 65 "Quantum" (64-bit)

Admin plugin form requires dependencies

Bug Description
Dependencies were removed from the main site UI, but the admin site still includes them in the form, and requires them in order to save a plugin record.

Using Discourse as an SSO provider

Bug Description
When using Discourse as an SSO provider, an unauthenticated user who uses the discourse OAuth service will be logged into discourse, but will not be redirected from the login back to library.

Expected behavior
The user should be redirected automatically to the library, even if they have not logged into discourse.

Comments

  1. This will likely require a PR to discourse.
