Suggestion to enable this functionality is to change

docker run --network host --gpus all --name $1_backend --rm -it $image_name 

in line to

ROS_URI="${ROS_MASTER_URI:-"localhost:11311"}
docker run --network host --gpus all --name $1_backend --rm -it $image_name -e ROS_MASTER_URI="${ROS_URI}"

Documentation on the master is out of date.

• Document the Service<-> backend API
• Document the Client<->Service API
• Document the dockerisation of backend APIs
• Project usage

Use https://github.com/rospypi/simple instead of full ROS installation in docker to use the rospy.Service interface. Or use rosbridge and websockets.

Docker backends should be automatically downloaded and used from a public docker hub or an LCAS docker hub (to be created) when they don't exist or when the required backend dependencies don't exist on the system.

Is this intentional?
