The current setup of this repo is that there is a single Markdown file, holding all information. As discussed with @DavidLambauer, there could be a huge benefit of splitting up the resources into smaller files (Markdown, CSV, JSON) and using a build tool to parse these resources into the main README.md file. The smaller resource files (like an events.json, an extensions.csv file or simply a about-magento.md file) could then be used elsewhere (remote feeds, website generators) as well.

Not sure where it's better to place these projects but Adobe started to create a couple of connectors with their products and Magento2:

Hello, and congratulations for compiling all those extensions.

You should take a look to our implementation of ElasticSearch which is available for both CE and EE for free, and also features merchandising tools (virtual categories, configurable boosts for search, and so on ...)

The Mage-OS project has a Magento Content Committee https://mage-os.org/organization/about#who-we-are that is thinking about the site of Mage-OS to include proper content for introducing Magento as well. This overlaps with some of the thoughts we have about this awesome list. The idea is to reach out to them with a proposal, once the new MVP of this awesome list is reached.

Events often have the same kind of details (name, dates, organizers, geolocation) which could be better maintained in a JSON feed or CSV feed. This feed (fe resources/events.csv) could be used by the README.md building tool, but it could also serve as a feed for others (like a Google Calendar iCal feed) as well.
