I have had a quick look and googling is surprisingly unhelpful.
We did trial upgrading the scep256k1 lib - but downgraded as there is more work required to update the library so postponed and reverted. Version is the same as previously used.
Will dig deeper.

I may have caused issues.

Let me do a merge of the latest game changes and get us to a known good

Servers needed a version bump. Errors on prod seems to be gone. I may also bump the npm package version, although it doesn't seem to be needed for this specific problem.

Sorry, should clarify that this was a polkadot/parity issue. I've updated the westend, kusama, and polkadot binaries on all three servers. I'm also opening a PR to bump the api package version on the client, although it wasn't needed to fix this issue.
