yes, /log
only retrieves data from database regardless of active nodes. If there are no relevant data in the database for the requested node, an empy list is the correct response. To check if the node is running, you may use the newly implemented /ping resource
from pbrcontrol.
The bug itself is invalid, although the documentation should have been more clear about this. See the updated documentation
If the implementation is unsatisfactory, please create an enhancement.

Ok so if I understand it correctly, I get empty data from PBRcotrol in two cases - there are actually no new data OR the node does not exist?
