SparkFun GPS Logger Shield

SparkFun GPS Shield

SparkFun GPS Shield (GPS-13750)

The SparkFun GPS Logger Shield equips your Arduino with access to a GPS module, µSD memory card socket, and all of the other peripherals you'll need to turn your Arduino into a position-tracking, speed-monitoring, altitude-observing wonder logger. The shield is based around a GP3906-TLP GPS Module -- a 66-channel GPS receiver featuring a MediaTek MT3339 architecture and an up to 10Hz update rate.

gps_shield's Issues

GPS Shield v20 proto checklist issues

Isolate is set to 6 mil in the design, the checklist specifies 12 mil, but changing that value was up for debate. Also not sure if OSH Park can fab anything below 7 mil.

Design looks good other than the above discrepancy.

v20 Issues

-Need PROD_ID for batt. clip (according to the BOM it is CONN-08044)

-This may not be an issue at all, but when I match up the Redboard ISP header and the GPS Shield ISP header they seem to be slightly off.

that's it!
