If you are using Eagle 6.0+, you need to use the SparkFun Eagle Libraries found here: https://github.com/sparkfun/SparkFun-Eagle-Libraries SparkFun Electronics' preferred foot prints for Eagle 5.11 and earlier. We've spent an enormous amount of time creating and checking these footprints and parts. If you enjoy using this library, please buy one of our products at http://www.sparkfun.com. Please also note that we guarantee that there are some messed up footprints in this library. We've tried to note which are proven and tested but by downloading this file, you acknowledge that you are using this file at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for faulty PCBs. Always check your parts against a 1:1 printout. Licensing: CC v3.0 Share-Alike (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/) You are welcome to use this library for commercial purposes. For attribution, we ask that when you begin to sell your device using our footprint, you email us with a link to the product being sold. We want bragging rights that we helped (in a very small part) to create your 8th world wonder. We would like the opportunity to feature your device on our homepage. This is the complete Spark Fun Electronics default foot prints for Eagle. We switched to Eagle back in 2006 and have been extremely impressed with its ease of use and flexibility. As with any new software, it's like learning a new language and takes time. Do it. Eagle is great. If you need more information about how to use Eagle, checkout our Eagle Tutorials: http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/tutorial_info.php?tutorials_id=108
I am unable to find the sparkfun breakout boards. I'm a bit of an Eagle newb, but I can add some of the ones that I have created if you all don't mind newb work.
The 0402 footprints for resistors and caps are wrong - they seem to exactly match 0603 footprint recommended dimensions.
-5 and similar packages appear to be OK
This part appears to have the pins for the PNP linked to the NPN pins on the schematic.
Referring to the part Resistor/Resistorkit and package AXIAL-0.3-KIT
The top soldermask for is about half the diameter that it should be. Oddly, the bottom soldermask is the correct size.
As an easy workaround is to simply use AXIAL-0.3 package has the same physical dimensions, the correct soldermask, and simply a smaller silkscreen.
The pins are swapped on the symbol to footprint mapping for the JST-2-SMD variant, making it confusing. They seem correct on other connectors such as M03
