wled-esp32-dev-board's Issues

WiFi not connecting

I recently picked up a few of these units, and however when I Load WLED onto the boards, they are unable to connect to WiFi,

Ive installed WLED using https://install.wled.me/ and will try later using different methods, but Ive had excellent luck before with that method.

There is an antenna connected, and Ive tried with several different Access point's(Unifi, Mikrotik, Linksys) thinking maybe my wifi was not playing well.

Any Suggestions?

Any Suggestions?

No current

I'm unable to light up my LED strip. I am using a SK6812RGBW strip with 150 LEDs

I also have a 5V 20A power supply that I connected to the PWR and G of the board. These pins do not seem to power the board itself so I am currently powering the controller through micro USB from a computer.

I have WLED loaded and connected but I'm not seeing any current leaving the terminals of the board at all. I'm not great with electronics but I tried testing between the 5V power terminal and the ground and there's nothing coming out for the LED strip.

Do you have any suggestions? I can add any additional information that may be helpful.

LEDs not coming on

I just got my WLED-ESP32-universal-contoller in and connected it up but am not getting any lights to come on but I believe I have set everything up correctly. I can turn the board on and off and can hear the relay click and have confirmed that 5V is at either side of the stip. I then looked at the data pin and found I was getting a voltage going to the first LED, from D1 data pin, but the voltage is not passed on after the first LED. The first LED was lighting up at one point but now it does not even turn on. Here is my config in the wled app:

Any help would be appreciated. I have tried two different LED strips with the same results. Sorry if this is something easy I am just missing, this is my first attempt at this! Thaknks!
